Guest guest
I don't know, but these symptoms sound similar to mine when my yeast is at its worst - usually after I've eaten something I shouldn't or something the yeast doesn't like. I've thought of them more as allergies and/or food sensitivities when I've had them. ~ In a message dated 11/25/00 9:21:15 AM Central Standard Time, Lora715@... writes: << Could histamine be the chemical that rises from my chest, into my throat & nose shortly after eating sugar or yeast ? Weird symptom that doctor said he's never heard of in years of practice. I would try benedryl but I have glaucoma. Lora >>
Guest guest
Try Vitamin C and Quercetin, perhaps. I know that Quercetin and Vitamin C help decrease my histimine levels naturally. It also helps me to detox in general. When I get toxic, I take Emergen-C, as it gets to the bloodstream soonest. Guest guest
Edy: We are all having more trouble with allergies this year. With the extra rain, everything blooming longer, now the heat sending the drying pollens around, we are all having a whopper of an allergy season. Usually my allergies are from February through June, milder here in the Santa Cruz coast with foggy weather, but this summer I have seen people who never had allergies suffer. My eyes are itching and watery, and that is usually a thing of the past for me. This year I am on Allegra, Nasonex and have had to do allergy eye drops, and it still doesn't stop my eyes from itching and watering bunches. You are not the only one~sorry. Try adding extra vitamin C. This is often a big help in pulling the extra toxins out of your body and giving it a boost. Also Quercetin might be helpful. Try Source Natural (since it's made in s Valley, right near where we live). Twinlab makes a great Vitamin C. in La Selva Beach CA histamines Hi everyone, My histamines are going crazy. Guest guest
Dear Edy, I have had more problems with histamines, this year, and I don't live in your area...live semi-arid area, but I think this is a particularly bad year for environmental allergens. If it is in the external environment, staying inside, in filtered air should help. I, usually, " itch all over my body " , when I am allergic to a substance (food) or to a substance, like dust, molds, etc. in the environment, when those things are overpowering..It sounds like you are being exposed to substances and there is an body overload of an allergen (s), .. Identifying the substance (s) would be helpful, if you can avoid it. Also, try taking Quercitin with Vitamin C..a natural antihistamine. Benadryl is, sometimes, effective to stop itching... Guest guest
Hi , It's funny. I've never had an allergy in my life and I'm now 55. My daughter swears it's the chemtrails and I think it started when I did so many antibiotics. Do your palms and soles of your feet feel like poison oak and do you itch all over your whole body? I've never had an allergy like I said so I don't actually know what the symptoms are. I already take 5 grams of C a day. Should I add more do you think? Thanks, Edy Schmidt <schmidtmba@...> wrote: Edy: We are all having more trouble with allergies this year. Guest guest
You could take 10grams of c/day, at least for awhile-if it doesn't give you the runs. C is usually so good for allergies. Guest guest
Good answers everyone. Allergies can affect each person in a different way~some get stuffy noses, some itch in different places of their body (internal and external), some can't breathe, some go into anaphalactic shock (like a nut or insect bite reaction), some have brain allergies where they can't think (brain fog), can't write, can't articulate words, etc. Edy: Have you changed something recently in your personal care products or clothing care products? Changed laundry soap, softener, perfume, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.? Any of these things that come into contact with your body can be causing the reaction. Also ingesting something different can be causing the itching that might be coming from internal. Benadryl is a popular medication to stop the itching~it makes you very sleepy, so only take at night and do not drive. I prefer Vitamin C. Are you taking one that you respond to okay, like not an allergic reaction. I tasted a sample product in the health food store one day and immediately had itching inside my ears, back of the throat, and the sales clerk said I reacted to something in the product. It lasted about half an hour and was not pleasant. They thought it might have been the bromelaid in it. Hope you are doing better now that the fog is coming back in and cooling things off. Where is Davenport~north, south, east, west, on the coast, Highway 1 or 17? in La Selva Beach CA Re: histamines Dear Edy, I have had more problems with histamines, this year, and I don't live in your area...live semi-arid area, but I think this is a particularly bad year for environmental allergens. Guest guest
Hi , Nope haven't changed anything at all forever. My Vit C is ester by Natrol and I've been taking it for years. I'm sending some things to Rich and getting a test soon. Davenport is 10 miles north of Santa Cruz on Hwy 1. Right on the ocean and buffeted by the ocean winds. Weather is a little rugged out here and quite a lot colder than S.C. Edy Schmidt <schmidtmba@...> wrote: Good answers everyone.
