What are you currently doing, if anything, for yeast? We don't know

much about you yet, so if you are doing what I mention, sorry for any

repeat.

Yeast was a big issue here before we started chelating; now it rarely

rears its ugly head. So, I would first say, if you think mercury

toxicity, chelation helps with the yeast as metals leave. Though it can

cause yeast to be a problem as metals leave I hear. For that reason, we

started chelation at 1/16 mg per pound of body weight. I didn't want to

have to fight the yeast beast while chelating. We only used ALA. The

approach worked well here.

We started by getting yeast under control before chelation with

Grapefruit Seed Extract. Then, when we started chelating, we added 5mg

biotin a day. That seemed enough for my son, but others have said they

use more. I have to say that the GSE was a Godsend here, and mostly how

we discovered that any of the stuff on this board would help my son. I

was here mostly to get information, and as an advocate, when I read some

really bad articles slamming parents who believed mercury caused their

children's autism. Before that, I knew of nothing that would help my

son, so never even bothered to have him diagnosed. Boy, the last year

or so has been a JOYOUS ride for our family. :-)

Anyway, back to the yeast. What are the symptoms your child is having?

What have you tried. We'd love some background on you. And, welcome to

the board. I suspect you are fairly new or been lurking, judging from

your posts and that I haven't noticed you before.
