Different opinions on here about that. I would keep my child away. And I do ask

if any children have been recently vaccinated. If they run into it without me

around, fine, but if I know there is going to be exposure, I don't do it.

chicken pox and flu vaccines

Hey everyone, I'm mostly a lurker, mainly because I just don't have time to

post! I'm sure this has been covered before, but I have missed a lot of great

posts because I am currently caring for my terminally ill mother, so I apologize

for the repeat if it is. My daughter is 14 months and unvaccinated and has never

been sick. My neighbor vaccinates and has an 8 year old who is getting the

chicken pox and flu shots today. Do I need to keep my daughter away for a bit?

I've tried talking to her about vaccines, but since EVERYONE I know thinks I'm a

nut, I've stated my opinion on them and then shut my mouth. I just don't have

the time to do the debating, but I do want to keep my baby healthy as can be!

Thanks so much

As stated, opinions differ. I'd say, don't go out of your way

to go over there, but quarantine is not necessary.

Vaccines in general are a bad idea, IMO. The chicken pox vaccine is purely a

profit maker for pharmaceutical companies. People used to have chicken pox

parties to expose their kids on purpose. The flu shot contains mercury.

Are these two vaccines ok?

Many children in my country are taking these two vaccines, I wonder if

they are as dangerous as MMR or HepB?

Or are you of the opinion that all vaccines are dangerous?

I attended a chicken pox party with my 2 children then 5 and 2, instead of

giving them the vaccine. Fortunately, both of them contracted chicken pox, my 2

year old had it very mildly, and I will try expose him again in about 2 years,

and my 5 year old got a really good case of the chicken pox. We got over it

without any incidents or doctors visits. We took photos and informed our

doctors that they had, had the chicken pox. I did this for several reasons,

firstly I did not want to expose them to the ingredients in vaccines, (aluminum,

which is also a neurotoxin, being one of them) and secondly, their immune

systems become stronger, by having these childhood diseases. I also know that

the chicken pox vaccine does not confer lifetime immunity, which means if I had

given them the vaccine, they would run the risk of contracting it as an adult,

when the disease can be fatal, or at the least make them very sick.

I know many children that have had the vaccine, who still come down with the

chicken pox, and from what I have read, due to this problem, it is a vaccine

which will need continual boosters throughout their lifetimes.

I am very happy that I did not vaccinate them against this childhood disease and

that they caught it the same way that I and my 3 other siblings did, with no ill

effect.

Best wishes

Fern

PS If your child is not healthy and their immune system is already compromised,

I would not suggest exposing them to the virus intentionally. I know that the

only time chicken pox is really a problem is when a childs immune system is

already compromised. Or when they see doctors who give them steroids /

antibiotics, etc, and intefere with the course of the disease.

In response to your question on the flu shot. The flu shot does contain

thimeresol (mercury), it has been linked to alztheimers and most of the time,

they get it wrong. My mom came to visit me and had the flu shot before she

came. She got so sick, that the doctor she saw, said she had a bad upper

respiratory infection, which would have been pneumonia, if she had waited one

more day. She has vowed not to have the flu shot again. Then you have to

consider all the junk you are putting into your body. If you are thinking about

vaccinating, get hold of the vaccine insert and read the information on what is

in it, and the possible side affects, and I think you will think more than twice

about whether you should have it or not. I think the best answer to vaccines,

is to avoid them, keep your immune system healthy, by not eating any processed,

packaged foods, exercise and drinking water (which has an alkaline as opposed to

an acid pH. Alos our immune systems need some exposure to viruses, so they can

practice keeping us healthy. That is just my two cents. Good luck with your

decisions, the choice is yours.

Best wishes

Fern
