Guest guest
Hi. Jan, I am not pressuring you at all, but you mentioned that you would look at my dd tests results, right? I just want to make sure I have it right. BTW.... is there someone that I can pay to do this. I know you guys are really buys and its not fair to take up so much time. It would be really helpful if I had someone go through this witih me. Do most labs use the same numbering system, so that I can try comparing? Guest guest
I don't know who you can pay...but maybe I should go in business...lol. I really don't mind. I do this all the time for people because I am one of the few who owns the Hair Test Interpretation book. In Andy's book he has a list of other labs aside from DDI and has counting rules for those labs. He does say that this lab's test is not suitable for use with children, but we can still look at it. Sometimes tests come out so toxic..there's no question. It would at least give you a baseline of before chelation. Guest guest
I would call them back and tell them you want a re-test. This lab has an excellent history but sometimes mistakes are made. I don't think you'll have too much trouble getting another test done. From: Arias <thinkingheads@...> Subject: [ ] Mistake on hair test. Date: Friday, October 17, 2008, 5:04 PM the test result on hair test were done for a boy, instead of for my daughter. i called the lab and they said it didn't matter. does that sound right? ------------------------------------ =======================================================
Guest guest
would i have to cut more hair off of my dd head? she is almost bald already, and she had tantrums for days after we did this. perhaps i could have it done in a few more weeks. Guest guest
ask them if they've destroyed the sample yet. > > From: Arias <thinkingheads@...> > Subject: [ ] Mistake on hair test. > > Date: Friday, October 17, 2008, 5:04 PM > > the test result on hair test were done for a boy, instead of for my > daughter. i called the lab and they said it didn't matter. does that > sound right? > > ------------------------------------ > > ======================================================= >

If the ranges are not identical, they ought to send you a corrected test report. In Hair Test Interpretation, I found results for 8yo boy and girl and the ranges are not identical. This could change the counting rules results. I don't know if it will make a difference in your daughter's case, but it might. They should be willing to provide the corrected report. --

This lab has an excellent history but sometimes mistakes are made. I don't think you'll have too much trouble getting another test done. They don't need to redo the analysis of the hair sample, the problem is the results are displayed using reference ranges for a 9yo male. All they need to do is re-print the report using the proper ranges for a 9yo female. --
