Is it for detox ? Is it effective?

===>Helps some kids with their guts. Zeolites have never been proven to

chelate out heavy metals and most knowledgeable people will tell you there is

nothing in zeolites that would remove mercury/metals.

Thanks,

Maya

Thanks . Yesterday I met a mom of a 7 yr old who said her son

babbled for the first time at age 7 since she started zeolite.

zeolites are volcanic rock and ash. I guess that would be similar to

ingesting charcoal. great for the gut, not for the metals. I think

there is an assay done by DDI on zeolites in the files of A-M that

details the contents. I was not impressed myself with the metals in

it. Zeolites are the aluminosilicate. This makes them a source of

aluminum. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeolite

Many parents do report seeing some improvement on NCD. But no one has

seen anything improve in the long term. With every child so far the

improvements on NCD stop after a while.

One possiblity is the aluminum spikes the immune system (just like the

way its intended to in a vaccine) which provides some temporary relief

from inflammation.

(I'd rather do without the Aluminum, even if it does not get

absorbed..... thanks.....)

Other people claim it helps with Ph.

However there is absolutely no evidence it chelates anything.

It may even help with causing some redistribution and so when you

combine it with a proper chelation protocol like Cutlers, it may end up

causing you to have to chelate for longer than you otherwise would have

needed to.

The point is, no one knows. So whenever their is significant evidence

that some thing works, I'd rather stick with the sure thing (AC

protocol), than take the gamble.

The main " science guy " behind NCD, Dietch, has been caught out for

plagiarism, which does not speak well for his credibility, and in my

mind, by extension, does not speak well for the credibility of his

product. I believe there are perhaps many interventions for which we do

not have enough evidence yet, which may still be useful. But when

someone decides they need to resort to plagiarism to promote their

product, it does not speak well for their confidence in their own

product. They also promised studies years ago, to be realsed in 2006.

Nothing happened. They even gave some samples to students at a

university to try for themselves, and then went around telling people

that this university was currently undertaking studies to prove their

products efficacy. It just stinks of a con job.

One of the biggest supporters over at AutismNCD often fails to tell

people that she used ALA as per Cutler protocol. She also happens to

sell NCDzeolite. She also happens to talk about other chelators, and

give complete misinformation. Some could go so far as to say she lies.

However I think she believes in what she says, she is just too ignorant

to learn enough information to realise a lot of what she says is not

true. She also loves throwing that recovery word around a lot and

quickly sucks in a lot of unsuspecting and desperate parents. She may

have changed her ways since I last communicated with her. I did tell

her she should not lie to parents. I do not know if she listened.

Beware.
