Do allergy shots contain mercury now?, and what other chemicals and

additives? My son pediatrician is suggesting allergy shots>

He is testing allergic to enviromental things, trees, mold ,grass

etc Thanks

I don't know about the mercury, but I do know that allergy shots are the wrong

approach. The allergy shot method assumes it's the substances that are at fault,

rather than the person. Allergies are a sign of a messed up immune system. The

approach that works is to strengthen up the immune system.

I suggest a good naturopath to help your child get stronger. There are immune

system building herbs and vitamins, homeopathy, and dietary changes that will

make a world of difference for you. Until you find someone, I would stop all

dairy, food dyes/additives and sugar and give your child Vit. C and quercetin.

Avoid antibiotics because they will further compromise the immune system, if

they haven't already.

Also, find a good pediatric chiropractor if you don't have one. A

properly aligned spine also makes for a healthy child. I believe

sometimes a pinched nerve can cause allergies. From how a baby is

born to all the normal falls and spills, spines are always being

jiggled.

Great idea--and as those babies get older, they get more than the normal falls

depending on what activities they pursue. Parents, hide those skateboards!

I did allergy shots for years -- cost a fortune and still wound up in the ER

way too often, so in my opinion they weren't and aren't worth the time or

expense to say nothing about what they were injecting me with!

What did work, was building my immune system and eliminating as much " junk "

as possible. Good luck.
