Guest guest
I think Andy's premise is that it's seaweed based and seaweed absorbs mercury. But and this is a BIGGY, if you are sulfur intolerant, like ME!!! Stay away for sure. I have seen many sulfur people regress DRAMATICALLY on it. Blue-green algae is quoted in Mold Warriors, by Ritchie Shoemaker, MD as... pg. 70 " It seems as though the structure of the toxins made by fungi, BLUE-GREEN ALGAE, bacteria, dinoflagellates, apicomplexans, spirochetes and recluse spiders (and what else?) all evoved based on the structure of water. I haven't seen the same structural similarity in toxins made by plants. The dangerous, water-like structure allows the molecules to diffuse easily across cell membranes, causing damage. It's this property of toxins that makes them part of a larger group of compounds called ionophores. Not all ionophores are toxins, but to date, the biotoxins in my work have all been ionophores. Ionophores can move quickly across membranes and go from cell to cell, distributing themselves throughout the body. Amazingly, they do not need blood to travel, but can jump from one cell the to the next. So a biotoxin in the nasal passages can end up in your skin, heart, liver, lungs, muscles and brain. " This was in the chapter on Biotoxin pathway. Fascinating chapter, listing the suspect genes that set people like me off more than others. Genes implicated; C3a, MMP-9, MSH, HLA DR, VEGF, Hypoperfusion and energy, and other things like TNF, leptin, PAI-I, antigliadin antibodies (AGA), MSH. Talks about Cytokines. Lots of things that have similarities to what Andy says in his book. Myelin issues. What a surprize... in this mold book no gluten. Just many cross overs. ACTH issues. By the way I came back positive for some aspect of the MTHFR snp. Not a surprize there either. Waiting for mold snp tests. And porphyrins. Showmaker's protocol with CSM cholestyrmine helped me a great deal. I only did a trial package for about 4 days. Noticed big improvment. Heh, anyone with Andy's site, has more on the ball than most. However he also gave me chlorella trial, thanks but no thanks. Probably mobilizes metals, and for sulfur folk BIG NO NO!!!!! Still don't have my son back. He has temporarily with Dad/meth head and exhibiting violence towards him occasionally. Just heard last night about a disturbing shower incident. Horrible. The system listened to the meth head calling me crazy, and handed him over to a big abuser. I'm doing the best I can. This third attorney I see Tuesday has a disabled child and is involved with the disability act, so I'm hoping she'll be able to assist me. I've been on permanent disability for being bi-polar and just lost my diagnosis after 14 years. I'm grateful. It's chelation and a whole lot more. But an abusive co-parent has been way too stressful. And I have to get this x girlfreind to call CPS on Dad. When will it stop. System does not want to hear about Dad, just thinks I'm in denial about my hitting my son once. He had a violent episode, for an hour and a half. I did everything right but did hit him and left a mark.Found out days later there was toxic mold, I moved out, got off my thyroid and am anxious to get my son back. It's hard going getting him back with the system thinking I'm a nut. That's why they called a psych eval, and I passed. Pray I get my son back. He needs to get into treatment for mold, chelate, and better counselor, and most important away from domestic violent Dad. Just horrible, he abuses women in front of my son, and now my 8 year old is starting with me. He doesn't have him on GFCF or supplements about 2 months now. I'm so concerned for my son. And the system just keeps punishing me. Horrible. If it were not for God, I woud've lost it long ago. Alison F. a. Re: New, overwhelmed, confused, fearful-Help! Chlorella, spirulina and blue-green algae have properties powerful in detoxification of heavy metals by deeply nourishing and strengthening the body to do more on it's own than needing an agent to do so. Guest guest
Of course not any blue green algae, Aph. flos-aquae which I've used with great success and no detriment. The essential difference is, chelation (removal with an agent) vs. detoxification by the body when treated holistically. It can get confused Best wishes, Liz > > > > > > > > I chelated all four of my kids, and myself, with ALA.
