I long time ago I used to work in market research and one of the

questions that was always asked quietly of our clients (which included

government) was " what would you like the study to reveal? "

Its a dirty game and unfortunately the public at large tend to think as

soon as they see some numbers put together with the word science loosely

thrown around, that it must be absolute fact.
