Guest guest
For my kids the behaviors you mentioned below indicate yeast flare- ups. Have you tried GSE? It works wonderfully for controlling yeast. Madhuri > > Greetings: > > My son is suddenly having accidents again after months of no > accidents. Guest guest
When we started Diflucan, my boys had pretty strong die off symptoms one week into it and they lasted for several days and then wonderful improvements. So, this could be die off related. Guest guest
We aren't using diflucan for yeast, but gse and I can note that my son's toilet accidence reappear when he has gotten terribly yeasty. > > > > Greetings: > > > > My son is suddenly having accidents again after months of no > > accidents. Guest guest
Ann - I'm doing anti-virals for my oldest one(8.5 yrs), so he needs a lot more GSE(most of the times he is not the one having toilet accidents). For my youngest one(almost 3), I give him 6-8 drops of GSE (Nutribiotics brand) depending on how much yeast he has and that seems to help him. He has been toilet trained a few months ago, and I have noticed that when his yeast flares up big time, that's when he has the most accidents. You may want to start very slow at 2-3 drops and see how it goes. For my oldest one who is on a full swing anti-viral protocol, I give him about 25 drops per dose of anti-virals every day, and even that sometimes doesn't help. Hope this gives you an idea! Guest guest
For my migraine girl, this is related to yeast, but also seems to be an acid/alkaline imbalance (yeast thrives in alkaline environments, but an alkaline environment helps with detox - a major catch 22 situation - at least that is the idea I keep in mind, hoping I have that right ...also, this loss of toileting often coincided with her worst migraine moments (always with increased constipation issues). For her, celery helps immensely...Also celery/green apples together, but we have found that just upping the celery will help her get back to her normal toileting...as this is usually caused by a food infraction, eliminating that food also helps. (usually breads/sweets of some sort.) wishing you the best answers elizabeth > > Greetings: > > My son is suddenly having accidents again after months of no > accidents. Guest guest
I'm adding about 10mls of fresh lemon juice to ds's sippy mug, as I thought that yeast don't survive an alkaline environment(lemon juice, once ingested becomes alkaline)...am I wrong in adding the lemon juice if I don't want yeast appearing.? Donna. Guest guest
Donna...I would leave in the lemon juice - is good stuff, all around. At my house, I just try to keep a general balance going on (food/diet wise) and " tweak " her diet when I see extreme behaviors/symptoms, like the loss of toileting....yeast feels rather relentless sometimes But also part & parcel of getting the crud out - I would up probiotice, try supps, etc before I would eliminate things like lemon juice...wishing you the best answers, elizabeth > > I'm adding about 10mls of fresh lemon juice to ds's sippy mug, as I thought that yeast don't survive an alkaline environment(lemon juice, once ingested becomes alkaline)...am I wrong in adding the lemon juice if I don't want yeast appearing.? > Donna. > > > > [ ] Re: Sudden loss of toileting skills > > > For my migraine girl, this is related to yeast, but also seems to be > an acid/alkaline imbalance (yeast thrives in alkaline environments, > but an alkaline environment helps with detox - a major catch 22 > situation - at least that is the idea I keep in mind, hoping I have > that right ...also, this loss of toileting often coincided with > her worst migraine moments (always with increased constipation > issues).
