Guest guest
Hi Group We are on round 20 of ALA/DMSA and for the last 2 rounds in a row, at the end of the round our daughter wakes up with pain in her right eye. We have been successfully chelating (strictly) with AC protocol with great gains and minimal side effects until now. We commence chelation on Thurs afternoon (2pm) and end 5am Sun morning (22 doses). However, for the last 2 weeks our daughter goes to sleep on Sunday night and wakes up crying in the middle of the night and when we ask what is wrong she tells us she has pain in her right eye. We are worried as we dont understand why this has suddenly happened. Has anyone had this experience? Can we be sure her discomfort is due to chelation? She is 35lbs and we are dosing her with 12.5mg of DMSA and 12.5mg of ALA every 3 hours, so we'd be surprised if she is not handling the dosage she has been handling well until now. Appreciate all responses. Best, Terry

Can we be sure her discomfort is due to chelation? ===>No you can't be positive until you try reducing the dose, which we did and we no longer got the complaint. IMHO, reduce the dose.
