Guest guest
I ran out of B complex but it seems to help a little. Still on probiotics. The medical specialist just came back with one finding which may be related to my condition (including very low testosterone despite treatment): MRI scan revealed an inflammed pituitary gland & there's a cyst (sort of water bag) that's engulfing the gland. It's believed this cyst blocks the gland from instructing prostate from producing testosterone. I'm referred to a urologist (ten days' time). Was told by an MD relative that it's usually not a good idea to perform surgery on a gland as it may upset the hormonal balance & even require hormone replacement. Anyone has any experience to share? I now know why I often has fragmented memory & mental performance (sometimes good & sometimes poor) & sort of frequent anxiety/depressive moods : low testosterone =================================================== Thanks for the research, . Come to think of it, I've ceased taking B complex for many years & looks like I need to resume it. I've also ceased Multivitamin for years & only 2 years back I resumed my multivit : the multivit helped a little with eczema but not much. I've also tried Evening Primrose oil (2000mg/day) but it helped little with eczema I'll post the results after a week or so Thanks On Sun, Dec 14, 2008 at 11:47 PM, <katie.mccartney@...> wrote: > Hi, . > > I was just reading about B2 and found this: > > " What are deficiency symptoms for vitamin B2? > Many of the early-stage deficiency symptoms for riboflavin involve > eye-related problems. Guest guest
Just curious, whether my son's autism is related to this, or he has a cyst/tumor somewhere in/near the brain/glands ? I know his thyroid is on the low side but still within normal range > The causes of pituitary tumors are unknown, although some are a part of a > hereditary disorder called multiple endocrine neoplasia I<http://health.nytimes.com/health/guides/disease/multiple-endocrine-neoplasia-t\ ype-i/overview.html>(MEN I).
