Andy and others -

I just received the results of a hair test from a friend of mine's son that are

concerning -- a 5 yr old boy with sensory integration disorder, anxiety,

depression. He had a twin that died in utero.

I have read your Hair Interpretation book and I know that 4 in the red zone

meets a counting rule for mercury toxicity-- but what about so many extreme

numbers?

Calcium - 1540 (range 125-370)

Magnesium - 60 (range 12-30)

Copper -- 99 (range 8-16)

Zinc - 340 (range 100-190)

Strontium - 12 (range .16-1.0)

Barium - 4.7 (range .16-.80)

Maybe we ignore the extremity of the numbers due to maldistribution issues

related to toxicity and assume they are not valid?

Should she consider a slow gradual detox based on your protocol -- or do I need

to refer them elsewhere for other testing? Or both? This seems worrisome to

me.

I'm wondering if she should consider Amy Yasko and genetic metabolism testing.

I have been wanting to study her protocols and maybe now is a good time to

start.

Thoughts?
