Guest guest
Ok I glided past most of the posts on " the rash " but now my son has yet another weird rash that the dr's office says is unidentifiable... but they think it most closely resembles serum sickness. They said its either that or " something viral. " Okay well what to do. It looks just like the one posted in photo's as " G's body rash " except it is everywhere... started out with 3 dots we thought were flea bites then has spread to about 50 bumps on the back, 20 or so on the tummy/chest, 10 on each leg and each arm and some in the genital area and at the hairline. a few on the wrist/hand, ankle/foot. None on the face yet. This started this morning. some are " confluent " or touching - I thought congruent was the word but I am no medical specialist - anyone know for sure what this is or what should be done? I looked up serum sickness; my son has not had any antibiotics in SO long and the pics of that online look more like blood blisters under the skin than raised bumps on the skin. Could this just be a layer we are peeling away? Thanks, Amy
