Guest guest
I've had the strangest night. Ate around 5:30, nothing strange. Took the boys to visit toy land to get ideas for the holidays and birthdays. Felt great. Got home about 8:15. Both boys eat a quick snack and off to the shower for one, the other to bed. I had to hit the rest room and my stomach took a nose dive, really strange. Then while in the bathroom, both ears had an intense deep itching both at the same time and then I started sneezing, like 12 times. My husband asked me if I was ok, very strange for me. All the sudden I couldn't breath throw my nose and I had problems breathing period. Scared. So came out and took 4 tsp of Benadryl and took out the epi pens just incase. Then remembered I had some prednisone so took that, 2 tsp. Anyway, I'm flushed and rashy looking from the chest on up and can feel swelling in and around my eyes. I counted 3 hives on my stomach. This is totally amazing and I have no idea what caused it. When at toyland, I had to get a b-day card. You wouldn't know they had large square tubes of every nut and I have my peanut allergy son with me. I told him to please not touch a thing and hurried up. Felt fine, sang on the way home. Isn't this just amazing. I'm sitting here maybe an hour later, tired I'm sure from the Benadryl, but amazed. I've never in my life had this severe of reaction to anything so life threatening. Honestly, I'm not sure what it even could have been. The nuts reaction, it was maybe 1/2 hour after being around them and like 3 hours after eating. Anyone ever have this kind allergic reaction so severe and have no idea? The only thing different I did was open my sons new toy and he's the peanut severe food allergy guy, he's fine. I'd almost think to toy was laced with poison but I'm the only one affected. Sorry, ot but had to share. I guess it's time for me to try no dairy, challenge nuts and maybe get some blook word done on food allergies. I'll sleep with my epi pens tonight just in case.
