Hmmm... I would check this site to see if anything can be linked it it.

http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient & dbid=109

i.e. it says " Supplemental intake of vitamin C at gram-level doses can

interfere with

copper<http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient & dbid=53>metabolism.

Conversely, vitamin C can significantly enhance

iron <http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient & dbid=70> uptake and

metabolism, even at food-level amounts. " So I would look up copper and iron

and see what the symptoms of deficiency and overdose are.

At my house, B12 and TMG caused heel cracks because they depleted

folic acid. Adding folic acid caused baby smooth skin and no heel cracks.

Lysine caused heel cracks when it was no longer needed. I had to give

some arginine for a few days to correct the imbalance.

Vitamin C required carnitine here for proper absorption, so you might

try adding that. But if it still causes heel cracks, I would be

suspicious that you might not need it.

In my house a low thyroid or candida on the skin/feet causes cracked

heels. It might be coincidence that it went away, keep watching.
