You can give Vit C until your kid gets diarrhea or to " bowel

tolerance " and then back it down. My 35 lb DS currently gets a total

of @ 1200mg/day split into 3 doses + what he gets in food.

With Ester-C, there should be no bowel intolerance. You can work up to

5-10g per day with this formulation.

Adrenal Cortex is best given first thing in the morning. It

stimulates cortisol production and therefore will keep you up if

taken too late in the day.

Well, _my_ understanding of ACE is that it _does_ contain small

amounts of corticosteroids.

Side effects listed at

http://www.evitamins.com/healthnotes.asp?ContentID=2797004 include:

" Stomach irritation and/or nausea is a common side effect, especially

with higher potency products. Other possible side effects include a

general stimulatory effect that may manifest as anxiety,

irritability, and/or insomnia. "

Stimulant. Insomnia .

I will follow up with Nutricology as soon as California wakes up.

.....and is that a bad thing? are you saying the same thing as

It's not a bad thing.

I would not give ACE at bedtime.

I don't think said anything about ACE.

I suspect this is an absorption issue, not a reflection of how ACE

affects sleep. (I.e. if the ACE doesn't get into your system, it won't

prevent sleep; if it is absorbed, it will.) Are you seeing any

symptoms of adrenal recovery?
