Guest guest
So funny, I just told my husband that I was going to write to the president EVERY DAY he was in office until someone heard our voice! I would be willing to help. We could do this once a month. My friend use to work in a senator's office and said that the issues that were addressed in bulk were best heard. The ones that trickled in sort of trickled away. Guest guest
I'm not saying that a letter campaign would not be good, I just wanted to see if there could be an organization of another effort. Alot of these guys play golf together ...... so I'm try to squeeze an invitiation out of them. I usually don't lunch with these guys but I have decided to start so that I can learn who to talk and meet contacts. I am extremely uncomfortable and out of my element but it is worth it. But I have no clue... so I am just asking everybody I know... grandparents etc, family, friends, to write as often as possible until we are heard. > From: mvpoppins <mvpoppins@. ..> > Subject: [ ] letter campaign to the president elect has begun. join us > > Date: Saturday, November 8, 2008, 12:21 PM > > > > > > > > > > > > Dear President Elect Obama, > > Please read the book " Changing the Course of Autism " by Bryon Jepson. > > The medical conditions of many children " labeled " with ASD have been > > cast aside and negligently ignored. > > Please work with the American Academy of Pediatrics to demand that they > > increase their " Standards of Care " for children with Autism Spectrum > > Disorders to include diagnositc testing for metabolic disorders, > > gastrointestinal disorders and food allergies.
