Guest guest
The first question is, do they have ANY mercury amalgam dental fillings and how long since their last mercury-containing vaccines? If no amalgam and at least 3 months since most recent thimerosal-containing vaccine, then 1/8-1/2 mg/lb, so for example if the individual weighs 40 lbs the dose would be 5-20 mg every 3 hours during the day and every 4 at night for 3 days and nights in a row then at least as many off. You'll most likely need to divide capsule contents to get doses that low. S S ALA???? Guest guest
Thanks , No they have no fillings, and I made the mistake of allowing their immunizations over 2 years ago. The urine tests showed low traces of mercury. THANK YOU!!!!!! Guest guest
Wanted to add that you can find much helpful information about low/frequent dose chelation in the files section of this board. You can also buy " Amalgam Illness " from Andy Cutler at http://www.noamalgam.com and have much good info at your fingertips. There is info about supplements in the files section as well as in the book. There are some standard supplements, but you will want to tailor them to your child's needs too. For example, we give selenium/C/A/l-Carnatine and others, but in varying doses. Our daughter requires more magnesium, yet our son doesn't seem to need any at all. When you get a plan in place, you can adjust and ask any questions here. The biggest thing I can say, knowing little about your child, is that if you start each supplement one at a time you will make life much easier. If you try too many new things at once, it is hard to tell what the results of any individual supplement or even the ALA are. But, if you start one at a time, and wait 4 or 5 days to introduce anything new, then you can see if any changes, good or bad, are going to happen as a result of the supplement. Sometimes a supplement can cause a bad reaction, and to not know which supplement did it means you have to remove all then start again if you didn't go one at a time. P. And longer to get supplements in place as well. good wishes, Moria
