Guest guest
Actually there was someone else (at least one) who found the LDN similarly changed her personality and from memory it turned out she actually really had Lyme Disease, not ALS or MS or whatever she had been diagnosed with. From memory I got the impression that there was a rational explanation as to why that may happen with Lyme, so get yourself tested for Lyme (or retested if necessary). Lyme tests are notoriously unreliable apparently and there are only one or two labs out there whose results are usually fairly reliable. I think IgeneX (sp?) was one but the Lymies on here will hopefully tell you. Best to do a search through the low dose naltrexone posts for those mentioning Lyme, especially those by alrightguy123 who has documented his history quite extensively lately. Unfortunately pouring out the capsules is very inaccurate as the naltrexone in them is only a grain or two, so you could easily get none or still end up getting all 6.0mg. Best thing is to work from the fact that 4.5mg is exactly 3/4 of 6.0mg. Pour the contents of the capsule into a known quantity of water in something you can easily shake. Given you want 3/4 of the resulting solution use a quantity of water you can easily calculate 3/4 of. For example 100ml or 80ml of water. Shake it up well and then drink 3/4 of the remaining solution - if you emptied the capsule into 100ml of water drink 75ml of mixed up solution, if you used 80ml of water then drink 60ml of solution etc.. The one problem with doing that is what do you do with the remainder? Do you throw it out (wasteful) or collect it up for 3 nights at which point you'll have 4.5mg for the fourth night? If you get clever you can empty 3 capsules into a known quantity of water all at once and then drink 1/4 of the shaken mixture each night. :-) dove33 wrote: > > > After reading several posts, I really think that each bod reacts to MS > and LDN, and other " wonder " drugs (my friend has been on Avonex slowly > down her progression for some time. > > I was instantly aware by the 2nd or 3rd day of beginning LDN, that > something good was happening with my physical being. > > Called my physician thrilled.
