CDC cannot furnish any long term double blind studies, conducted by researchers independent of the vaccine manufacturers, which support the safety of these vaccines. Sadly, they simply do not exist. What a review of the medical journals does reveal are reports of serious adverse reactions which included immediate reactions (anaphylaxis and urticaria) as well as delayed reactions, including skin, rheumatic, vasculitic (including Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and glumerulonephritis), hematologic, ophthalmologic and neurologic reactions (Vaccine 1998 Feb;16(4):329-334). Other reports indicate an 60 percent increase of insulin dependent juvenile onset diabetes has occurred among children who received the Hepatitis B vaccine (J. Barthelow Classen, Classen Immunotherapies, Baltimore, land). In light of the above list of very serious adverse reactions, what is Dr. Daly's definition of safe? The very least Dr. Daly and her public health colleagues can do is offer the parents all the information concerning the risk of the vaccine including the warning on manufacturer's insert so they can decide whether these very real risks of adverse reactions outweigh the remote chance of contracting HepB. At the same time it is the duty of the doctor to inform the patient that there are very effective, inexpensive and safe nutritional alternatives used for the treatment and prevention of the disease. Japanese hospitals in the Osaka region found a very inexpensive and safe preventive measure for hepatitis. They virtually eliminated hepatitis infections (caused by contaminated blood transfusions) among patients receiving major surgery by giving them 6,000 mg of vitamin C before and after surgery. [ Murata, A. Virucidal Activity of Vitamin C: Vitamin C for Prevention and Treatment of Viral Diseases. In Hasegawa, T., editor. Proceedings of the First Intersectional Congress of the InternationalAssociation of Microbiological Societies, 1975, Volume III. Tokyo University Press. Pp 432-442] It is time that newspapers required public health officials to list the medical references that back their claims. Trading on credentials is not enough anymore. Insurance underwriters will not assume liability for damage caused by adverse reactions to vaccines. This fact alone speaks volumes about " safety. Guest guest
Majority of state's ''birthing hospitals'' suspend controversial vaccine By Associated Press, 07/26/99 01:13 HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) All but two of the state's 30 ''birthing hospitals'' have suspended routine hepatitis B vaccinations for babies under 6 months old, the Department of Health has reported. Gerrish, a health department spokesman, said the hospitals' actions were voluntary but came after several medical groups urged the vaccines be halted for further study. In urging a nationwide moratorium on the vaccinations last week, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons said studies have shown a potential link between the vaccine and 25,000 adverse reactions, including death and neurological diseases such as multiple sclerosis and autism. Federal officials are not worried about the safety of the hepatitis B vaccine itself, but with a preservative that contains mercury. The preservative, Thimerosal, is included in other vaccines, and officials are concerned that children might be getting too much mercury in their first year, given the large number of immunizations they receive. Thimerosal has been used for about 40 years and the levels in a single shot are tiny. The question is whether there can be a cumulative effect. A state law adopted in 1996 mandates the hepatitis B vaccine for all children born Jan. 1, 1994, and after. In addition, a proposal submitted to the state regulatory committee would strengthen that mandate by making the vaccination a condition for entering seventh grade. The law is scheduled to go into effect in August 2000. State Health Commissioner Joxel has stressed the warnings should not scare parents away from other vaccinations. Most people aren't at risk of hepatitis B until adolescence, while other vaccines that include Thimerosal protect youngsters against common, and potentially dangerous, childhood diseases, health officials said. Infants at immediate risk of hepatitis B, either because their mother is a carrier or they could come in contact with a victim, should continue to be immunized. ''The current levels of thimerosal will not hurt children, but reducing those levels will make safe vaccines even safer,'' said. said he knew of no cases in Connecticut where the hepatitis B vaccine made a child sick. In Connecticut, hepatitis B kills between 50-60 people a year, according to a 1997 state Department of Health Report, which included the most recent state statistics available. Connecticut is one of 42 states requiring the vaccine. Children can be exempted from a mandatory vaccine for religious reasons, or on the advice of their physician. At the request of federal regulators, manufacturers are working on developing vaccines that do not contain Thimerosal, which could be available by the late fall. The two Connecticut hospitals which had not suspended the vaccinations were reviewing their policies and would likely follow suit, Gerrish said. I know what you mean about being happy to do such drudgery around the house. You are not sick, you just are appreciating the little things in life....thanks too for sharing about Ms. Fluck, she sure can do a lot for us too in the long run with her fight against vaccines that cause harm. I have little doubt they will countinue to vaccinate for more and more illnesses that children are not at risk of contracting or the illness is mild(like CMV or fifths) just becasue it CAN be done. Guest guest
<<I have heard this excuse... doctors give the Hep B to newborns because if they waited until they're older (and supposedly more at risk), most wouldn't get the vax because they aren't at the doctor's office as frequently for routine vaccinations. >> That's an excuse they use to give multiple injections at one visit... " too hard to get the parents to come back at regular intervals. Might as well give them all while they're here. " Even while I was still very pro-vaccine, I had a hard time swallowing that one. Very patronizing. M

Guest guest
--I so agree with you. I also think since ALOT of these kids were given too many vaccines in one day we should be able to sue the pediatricians. Ther has to be language in the package inserts regarding proper spacing of vaccines that they did not follow. Atleast Hippocratic oath. First do no harm[ like injecting mercury into an infant is doing no harm} Best to you, Dot - In EOHarm , " Carlson " <cathykay@...> wrote: > > >I wasn't given a choice about the vaccination at the hospital. Guest guest
I'm 30 years old middle eastern, I lived 28 years of my life in the middle east where its so hot and sunny .and ms cases are the lowest in the world.2 years ago I moved to Canada & I was very very healthy, I never been really sick with anything even flue I had it once every 3 years, I was very active, I had 2 mechanical engineering jobs I used to work 13 hours a day & drive 2 hours. On July 23 ,2008 I had hepatitis B vaccine 3 days after that shot I had a terrible headache and felt like a pliers pulling my right eye, my vision was very reduced. A week later I felt very confused, had bad memory loss, even I couldn't remember my phone number and address. And I kept getting worse and worse every day and more symptoms started to come, like numbness, tingling, twitching, severe fatigue, weakness, dizziness, tremors, electrical shock like feeling all over my body, I felt like my brain stopped working as I couldn't think properly even I didn't know what does 1+1 means after I used to solve complicated engineering equations. I saw many doctors; some of them say " hey a you look healthy, nothing wrong with you have anxiety and depression, that's why your nerves are firing " and others say " you have hypochondria " . on September 2008 I went to the emergency, I had mri & spinal tap, they were clear(I think because that scary disease just started) the head neurologist at that hospital said " nothing wrong with, you r hypochondriac go home and take anxiety pills " . my symptoms kept getting worse and worse. I could even drive to work, so I had to quit my 2 jobs and lose my income. Most of the days I just was sleeping or lying in bed as I didn't have the energy to move or even to eat. my lungs started to be week, it was hard for me to breath, I had bladder retention and I couldn't swallow. on October 2008 I saw another neurologist, I got another mri which showed 2 nonspecific white matter spots( the older mri didn't show anything, the new one showed something ,so that means there is a progression disease AND it's new), the neurologist said its maybe something called ADEM or maybe ms & you have to wait for a while and get another mri.anyways I was always reading about that killer vaccine that is FDA approved and they say it's safe a found lots of information about it and it causes multiple scoliosis in some people. So I knew that I might have that disease. While I was surfing the internet I read about LDN and it's benefits,2 days latter i went running to my doctor and i told him i need that medicine, he had no problem writing it. So I started taking it, within 1 week i started to feel great. The dizziness, the balance problems went away, my vision feels normal have normal energy now, no more weakness and most of the time I feel normal .I think this medicine works very good for me But the questions are: 1- Does LDN stop the progression of the disease that means that the disease while stop and wont progress anymore? 2- MS is immune dysfunctions how does the vaccine breaks the immune system in healthy people? 3- How does FDA approve harmful drugs and vaccines?
