Guest guest
Neurologists have lots of protocols for treatment of MS and none are LDN. I suggest asking your PCP. He/She will see that it has lots of 'anecdotal' support, it is an FDA approved drug (so safe to use) and it won't put a huge dent in your wallet. I don't know about what it will be like in Tennessee but your PCP should be most concerned about your overall health and there is nothing about LDN that has a negative effect. Seems to me that if you're willing to try it, unless your doc has a better idea, he/she should prescribe it for you (drug is FDA approved in a 50mg/day dose). I take 4.5mg and many here have success with 3mg/day. Be aware that there may be no symptomatic relief but it does seem to reduce the number of exacerbations.
