Guest guest
Janet, If you're " doing well " on 3mgs LDN I would not change a thing. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you start doing poorly on 3mgs, which I hope you don't, then I would consider moving up to a higher dosage. This is my opinion. I have RRMS and have been on 3 mg of LDN since May '07. I haven't had any MS flares during that whole time, other than 1 mild stress induced small one. My question is, if I'm doing so well at 3 mg., should I leave well enough alone or do I move up tp 4.5? When I first started posting here, I believe some folks said not to mess with a good thing and some said to move on up. My script needs renewed and my doc will probably write whatever I ask him. What do you guys think??? > > Thanks, > Janet Kunselman > RRMS 1994, LDN May '07 >
Guest guest
I actually agree with Aletha on this one! If you can get a script for 1.5mg then you can try going up to 4.5 and if it doesnt work drop back down again. My husband noticed no difference at all (although it was years ago so maybe I just forgot!) when he took the full dose of 4.5. I understand the " if it `aint broke " thing but if 4.5 is considered the optimal dose then why not give it a go.
