Guest guest
My Endo has me doing .5ml of the 100 Test Cypionate weekly. I use two different needles a 19g and 23 g. One needle is for drawing the Test and the other is for injection into my leg. Does anyone have any input good, bad, or different? Share your thoughts. Guest guest
Brokaw73, The only in put I have is your Endo gave you perfect instructions to use 2 seperate needles. Even that little bit of rubber one punctures to draw up a drug will blunt a needle enough to make it more uncomfortable to the receiver. Besides, a 19 guage smarts so much more than a 23 does! Be safe, (fire56)
Guest guest
I use a 27ga X 9/16 " on a 1cc syringe. Draw out 1cc of air from the top of the alcohol bottle & inject it in the T vial, turn the vial upside down & draw out the 1/2cc T. Inject slowly into the outer thigh. Do not keep the T in the fridge. It is supposed to be approx room temp. No pain, no black & blue. > > I gave myself my first shot in the leg yesterday in front of the nurse. We used a 22g 1 1/2. It felt fine until tonight. I think Mike Tyson punched me in my thigh. I'm going to start using the 25g next week. Is this a typical reaction? >
Guest guest
Wow that is the size needle they use to shoot you in the butt. I can see how this would hurt. I use a 27g 1ml x 1/2 " lg. needle I get a box of 100 for about $20. http://www.amazon.com/BD-Tuberculin-Syringe-27G-100/dp/B002C30F6C/ref=sr_1_fkmr1\ _1?ie=UTF8 & qid=1264088669 & sr=1-1-fkmr1 I shoot into my Thigh been doing this for yrs. never any pain and my levels are great. The oil comes out slow so I Pull air into the needle the amount of my shots I then push the air into the vial and the pull the plunger all the way down and just hold it. The oil comes out slow takes about a min. or two I draw out more then I need and then push it back into the vial until I have my dose. I then shoot the Oil goes into your thigh slow and it should works great I know guys using 29g needles. Guest guest
Some of you guys are self sadistic nuts!!haha I use 29 gauge 1/2 inch needles with no issues. Had been doing all of my shots subq on my inner thigh, and it has been working great as I went from 270 to 1200 in a month like that. Sometimes lately I'll use the same needles and go straight in on my outer thigh without pinching, which gets it into the muscle. > > I've been on Testosterone Cypionate now for about two years. My wife gives me my shots once a week. I would like to learn how to do the shots myself. > > Of those that self inject can you give me some details: Like the size of needles you use, where you inject etc. Anything you wished someone would of told you before you self injected...... > > Thanks for the help. >
Guest guest
I have never seen blood either. I have only done about 30- injections, but still.. no blood. ________________________________ From: philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> Sent: Wed, July 28, 2010 11:30:04 AM Subject: RE: Self Injections  Jim you need to call MEDICARE and ask them. As for your shot I don't feel this is a good Idea my Dr. was giving me shots 200 mgs in my back side to help keep my levels up on Gels. All this did was drive up my Estradiol levels even higher. It's one or the other I switched to shots and feel much better on gels I could not get good levels. Here is a link on doing shots when I do mine I pull back on the plunger to see if there is blood. It's not good to shoot Test C into a vain. I have yet to see blood but if one dose you need to pull the needle out and redo the shot. http://spotinjections.com/index3.htm Co-Moderator Phil > > > From: Jim <jamesjensen1068@...> > > Subject: Self Injections > > > > Date: Monday, July 26, 2010, 6:18 PM > > I've been on Testosterone Cypionate > > now for about two years. My wife gives me my > shots > > once a week. I would like to learn how to do the > shots > > myself. > > > > Of those that self inject can you give me some > > details: Like the size of needles you use, where > you > > inject etc. Anything you wished someone would of > told > > you before you self injected...... > > > > Thanks for the help. > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > >
Guest guest
What exactly would happen if you DID get it into a vein? > > > > > From: Jim <jamesjensen1068@...> > > > Subject: Self Injections > > > > > > Date: Monday, July 26, 2010, 6:18 PM > > > I've been on Testosterone Cypionate > > > now for about two years. My wife gives me my > > shots > > > once a week. I would like to learn how to do the > > shots > > > myself. > > > > > > Of those that self inject can you give me some > > > details: Like the size of needles you use, where > > you > > > inject etc. Anything you wished someone would of > > told > > > you before you self injected...... > > > > > > Thanks for the help. > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > >
Guest guest
I am not sure here is what I found. " The protocol for injecting oil suspended steroids, usually involves " aspirating " which is when you pull back the plunger to check for blood. If you have hit a blood vessel the syringe will fill with some blood, notifying you that you need to change injection sites. If you were to be ignorant of this and inject, the oil from the steroid could become lodged in a blood vessel or in your lungs causing numerous negative side effects.
