Guest guest
My grandfather was a smoker and died of lung cancer, and my grandmother died of secondhand smoke way after they had my father. My father did not smoke, and no one on my mother's side has ever smoked. I am wondering if smoking can alter the DNA passed in reproduction, or if that is set and unchangable? Can Smoking change sperm and egg chromosomes?
