Guest guest
Hi, this is my first time posting here. I visited an urologist this year for the first time in my life. I am 26 years old. As many, I decided to make the visit because of my ED. I took the decision after about two years of an insatisfactory sex life with my now, fiancée, who I deeply love. So far I have had my total and free testerone leves checked three times, one analysis approximately every three months (februrary, may and august). Over this same period of time I started taking Tribulus Terrestris, first with 20% saponins and later (during the last three and a half months) containing 70% saponins. Both, my total and free testosterone levels are low. My total testosterone level was 379 ng/dL (or 13.16 nmol/L) in february, then increased to 577 ng/dL (20.01 nmol/L) in may and then decreased to 476 ng/dL (16.52 nmol/L)in august (reference from the lab for normal men are 9,36 - 60,1 nmol/L). My free testosteron level went from 12 pg/mL to 18,21 pg/mL to 15 pg/mL (references from the lab for normal men are 8,7 to 54,7 pg/mL) In August, I also had checked three more parameters: LH (4,02 mUI/mL), FSH (1,64 mUI/mL) and prolactin (316 mU/L). I visited my urologist last week and he was surprised that I had a decline in my testosterone levels. I started taking Tribulus terrestris with a higher saponins content since june. He mentioned that it was very unlikely that I had a pituitary tumor, and he added that my problem was probably that my testes were not functioning adequately. He has prescribed me now HCG (5000 UI) and Clomiphene Citrate (100 g), both medicines per a six weeks period. He also decided that I should now take 6 tribulus terrestris pills per day, instead of two, as I was doing till now. I mentioned him that I was somewhat worried by my fertility, so he recommended me a spermogram. I do wake up with morning erections, and my sexual desire still here. It´s just that I cannot maintain my erections during intercourse, or even masturbation. I am worried that I couldnt rise my T levels with tribulus. The doc said that another possibility is T injections every three weeks, but he mentioned so many drawbacks that I am not willin to try it. My question is, has any of you tried HCG or Clomiphene Citrate? what has been the results? Does some of you have a similar situation(i.e. young, low T levels)? Thanks, n
