Guest guest
Hi Xian, Thanks for your detailed reply. What you say makes a lot of sense and I can't argue with it. Serious conditions need medicating and that's the bottom line. Forgive me if I seemed defensive in my earlier posts. I've floated the idea of him going on hormones - he's against the idea but who knows; he may change his mind in future if I don't push him on it. I'm all for being honest though, and told him he needs to consider it. He really needs to get on this group and talk to you guys about it more. I think he needs to consider it not only for himself, but for the people in his life who love him and have to endure what he goes through also. He is seriously in need of help - he has no energy and is losing his memory - god know what else his happening to him internally. He has zero testosterone which is not good. He's actually never taken the meds before, which I thought he had. He took some T supplement or other - don't know which. It had a bad effect on him. Can you tell me more about the treatment for KS eg. what the standard protocol is and the possible side effects of it etc ? I think in the case of this condition, it's not possible to look at alternative therapies, like it may be for other diseases. It's like you said, that diabetics need insulin, so KS people need T. all the best, Leonie
