Guest guest
I have used Androgel for several years. Lately it's been very cold where I live and the indoor humidity is very low. My skin which is normally moist, is very dry. This has effected my Androgel application in two ways: 1) I have noticed that when I apply the Androgel the gel disappears (either by absorption or evaporation) much more quickly than before. 2) Since my hands got chapped from washing off the androgel after application, I now wear rubber gloves when applying it. I imagine this could change absorption, since I am not losing the Androgel that gets on my hands and gets washed off. It seems I might get more Andogel when using the gloves. The overall effect is that I seem to get more bang for the buck from my Androgel. I haven't had the levels done yet, but it feels like I am getting more than usual, maybe even a little too much (if it gets too high I get jittery -- that could be the T itself or E derived from the T). Anyone notice either a change in Androgel absorption when humidity is low or increased absorption when wearing rubber gloves? Jim
