Life expectancy outside the body is in the minutes. About the same amount of time it takes for blood to dry. I'm a great one for scrubbing counter tops etc. with 10% solution of chlorox. That kills it DEAD! But I tend to take being careful to the extreme. IF it makes you feel any better, I've had this since 1987 and my husband still tests negative. So.......... I got stressed thinking I might have given it to my son somehow....he went for the hepC test and my doc couldn't tell me the results of course but I said " if it was positive, I'm sure you would have called him in by now " and he grinned.....I remember once a few years ago we mixed up toothbrushes and that's what made me send him for the test. A male child born in the United States in 2004 had a life expectancy at birth of 75.7 years. During most of history we didn't live long enough to get cancer or have our hormones give out on us. Obama care should focus on prevention if that was the case we all be healthier and reduce health care cost. Just have it manadory to test for vitamin D test and have appropriate levels supplemented greater then 60 ng/dl cancer, diabetes, and other diseases will drop.
