I won't go into all the side effects but one was my testicles stop producting Testosterone. A rare but known side effect of chemo. My total T dropped to 113. I was put on androgel, 4 pumps a day, and after about a month I start to feel better and sexual function start to return. At three months my total T was up to 350 and I was almost back to normal. That was just over a year ago. I am presently off androgel for 30days so my doctor can test my base levels. Been off for 3 weeks and I have no sexual function. Is this Dr. an Endo doing this crap to you. All he is going to find out is how dam sick he is making you. I was sent to 7 Endo's in the last 25 yrs and every dam one of them took me off TRT to see what my base line levels were. WTF is with Dr.'s that do this crap any good hormone Dr. would tell you this is a NO NO. Get as far away from this Dr. as you can and go on shots start with 100mgs a weeks do a 200mg shot to jump start you. Once you go on TRT the chanch your body will go back to making there own Testosterone is low next to zero. Also start testing your Estradiol levels and don't ever let a Dr. do this to you again.
