Guest guest
HCG is distlilled from the urine of pregnant women. Given the number of pregnant women in the US and Canada alone, there is not going to be a real genuine shortage of this stuff. Given the source, this stuff should be rather inexpenisve. However, I would be willing to bet that becuase HCG can not be patented, the big drug companies do not want to spend alot of time and resources making this product becuase it is not as profitable as other patented products. You can get HCG out of India for nearly half of what you pay through the US companies. If it were not so expensive the ideal testicle rehab/maitenance therapy woudl be a mixture of r-LH and r-FSH. Recombinant technology is not new, and these hormones should be relatively cheap to make. However, because these r-hormones can not be patented, the drug companies market them as reproductive medication and jack the prices up becuase they know that they can get that kind of money out of couples who want to have children. The more longer i deal with my secondayr hypo, the more i am convinced that i would be far better off with a mixture/blend of r-LH and r-FSH and arimidex than gels, creams, injected T, or pellets. However, until the prices of these hormones comes down, this is not going to happen.
