Guest guest
Hi big_boy1stunna I do not think you were born with this did you go through puberty ok. Some questions how do you feel before going on the testim. How is your sex life do you still have morning and night time wood. You can apply Gels like Androgel and Testis any time just try to put it on at the same time give or take an hour. Can you post your labs with the ranges and units I would like to see if your Dr. did all the testing he could do before he told you your primary meaning your testis don't work. Also if you started on a low does of testim say 5 grams or 1 tube you need to retest in 2 weeks. I say this because when your brain sees the added testosterone it will stop sending the messages to your testis to make testosterone. So if your levels were say 300 and the testim only gets you up to 200 then your going to feel better at first becasue your levels will be 500 then your testis stop and you drop back lower then the 300 and you can end up at 200 making you feel worse. Most men do better at higher doses like 10 grams. And some men the gel does not get through the skin and you feel worse. On your next test you need to have your Estradiol " E2 " tested because going on TRT the testosterone can convert into Estradiol and if this gets to high it undoes all the good the testosterone does. Here is a good like that states you need to get your Total and Free Testosterone levels up into the upper 1/3 of your labs range for a young man. And to keep your Estradiol down between 10 to 30 best at 20 pg/ml some do good at higher levels like 40. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html Also read this it's the AACE Guildlines. http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf Any thing you need just ask. As for the Gynecomastia if it's breast tissue you need it removed and if your don't keep your estradiol down it will come back. Being on TRT you will feel better and can get some exercise and lose weight. I would try this and see if it goes away. big_boy1stunna <no_reply > wrote: I was recently dianosed with primary hypogonadism. My DR. said I was born with this condition. I am now 21 yrs old and have recently started TRT. I apply testim once daily. Normally since I wake up at between 1:00pm and 3:00pm, I normally take my bath and reapply before 3:00p.m I was wondering if I need to wake up earlier to apply? Also I have gynecomastia on my right nipple section. My Dr. said that the only way to get rid of it is to lose weight or surgery. I'm not that overweight I'm 6/3 way about 255. Is there any other way I can get rid of it? I've been on TRT about 3 months I had skipped one day in first month but been takening it regularly. Haven't notice any improvements yet? Guest guest
I was born with it never been through puberty. My testosterone was 33 my LH=0.5 AND FSH=0.7.Inhibin B was 33.7ml. I see I was suppose to have my T rechecked after a month on Testim my Dr. hasn't mentioned anything about so I will get him to recheck it.I will problemly be another month from now as I am not insured and have to pay for all up front. Idiopathic Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism is what I dianosed as having. Also as for morniing wood really can't say about the same as before maybe a little better but not a significant increase.Maybe when I was first taking it. My symptoms were extremely sensative, depression, weak, and easily irritated . I'm sure I had more just couldn't think of them all.
Guest guest
No to me it looks like a pituitary problem have you had an MRI on it. Have you had your Cortisol and Thyroid levels checked. I have Hypopituitary Problems and my Adrenals don't get the message to work, alos my Thyroid and Testis. You sound like you have the same problem. I am talking to a women about her son his MRI showed his Pituitary is very small did not develop. When your tested and your testosterone is low and your LH and FSH is also low this is a pituitary problem not a testis problem. You would do much better later when your levels come up and your stable to add in HCG this will get your testis working again. It's not a problem the treatment is the same go on Testosterone and if your adrenals don't work go on Cortef same for your thyroid go on Armour. But one thing at a time. big_boy1stunna <no_reply > wrote: I was born with it never been through puberty. My testosterone was 33 my LH=0.5 AND FSH=0.7.Inhibin B was 33.7ml. I'd suggest having your E2 level tested. High E2 can make losing weight almost impossible. Many of us reduce our E2 levels with arimidex or a supplement called DIM>
