Guest guest
Just curious....Why do many reference whether or not they have morning wood? Is it an indication that they replacement T is working or not working? Any detailed response would be appreciative. Thxs. Bill

Guest guest
As long as you can do all that I feel your safe off TRT but if your levels are below 350 it can be a problem. After all your heart is a muscle and we need Testosterone to support our muscles. Guest guest
My Total T (if that is the same as Serum Testosterone) was as high as 28 on a range of 8 - 35 during my 20s. But also sometimes as low as 15. Well maybe I exercised or had sex the night before blood draw; that will make Total T drop. Anyway. I was never in the highest range. But 28 is pretty good, right? Well. I was at 10 when I tested in March 2010, after being off optimal Thyroid for 2 years. The stupid Endos made me ween my T3 down to nothing, and T4 down to half the dose.. And all hell broke loose.. That was not the cure for my ills: To remove my Thyroid meds! I did feel better the two-three days I tried a lil Arimidex, but it's all very complicated, I think; Taking hormones. The whole wonder of the body, the whole automatic-wonder, goes manual. Maybe I don't have a choice. Maybe I need to take multiple hormones. So be it. But it doesnt make it any easier for me taking them! I was off TRT for 1 month last summer, afterb being on for like 6 months. The very same day I didn't apply TRT for the first time in many months, my penis was working better! And the following 4 weeks off TRT was like.. Magic! I felt like a real casanova! Went back on TRT; Casanova-no-more! So here I am. Mister Ex-Casanova! Just what the hell do I do? I am waiting for Hertoghe to tell me if I should try Arimidex again or not. I think he's waiting for me to do a Coloscopy. Well my latest stool sample over at GENOVA DIAGNOSTICS in the US showed I have NO good gut bacteria in me! So I am a mess. Probably ate som bad food while vacating in Russia three times in late 2007. This is when I started feeling bad.... I am sure hardasnails has got stuff to say about that. DYSBIOSIS and Testosterone levels. Guest guest
When I went off TRT, Total T sot up from 10 to 15. But it's still a bit lowish. The range is 8 to 35. So you do the " approximate " thing in your head. Do it percentage-wise. If 8 is the same as the lowest range on Total T using US numbers, 15 is a tad up... 35 is tops... So not an amazing number... That was while off TRT for 1 month in August 2010... Phil.. I felt SO incredibly horny and sexual with 15! hahahaha.. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? I am just asking ya cause you seem to know a lot about this. I was even more horny with a Total T of 10 (remember, 8 is lowest range) before I started TRT!!! How is this possible? Some say Total T doesnt matter, but it's the FREE TESTOSTERONE INDEX that matters. Total T added up with SHBG. Maybe that's true? Mine was always like 99%! Which means optimal, no matter how low Total T was! > From: cottonfarm7@... <cottonfarm7@...> > Subject: Fwd: Morning wood > > Date: Tuesday, April 5, 2011, 5:59 PM > In a message dated 4/5/2011 4:02:35 > P.M. Guest guest
Tom, It takes time to get leveled right and by this I mean Estradiol too. Once you get this down and know what your body is saying to you you will be able to tell when you need to treat Estradiol and how to treat it. Every problem I ever had on TRT was about Estradiol going to high or even treating it and falling to low. I had to take extra aromasin yesterday after only needing 12.5 mgs for weeks every 3 to 4 days. I felt panic and looked red my BP was up and I was sweating with no wood. I had to think about it to tell if I was going to low of high. Then I felt this rash between my little toe strange but this happens when I am too high. So Yesterday I took 12.5 more mgs of Aromasin and was having very strong night time and morning wood all night long. So you see what I am saying now today I feel fine. Guest guest
When your stopped TRT what might have happened is your body stopped converting that T into Estraidol and your levels came down and you had good libido. When you have your Estraidol in the sweet spot this is how you feel. I use this to gage how my Estradiol levels are. Did you see the link fromo Dr. 's forum about his using a low dose of Clomid to treat his men that are secondary 25 mgs / day. He and Dr. Shippen the Dr. that did the book " The Testosteone Syndrome " are having dam good success doing this.
