I can testify to the trauma of hypogonadism during the years of youth. I have

part congenital, part mixed and  went untreated.  A devastating time growing up

even to the point that I could not date because 'fathers' in the community did

not SEE a good future in me naked.  Apart from being whole there is no

affliction that will not demoralize the perception and understanding we need.

For all of us perish apart from the truth.

For me the truth is that I SHINE!   Hypogonadism or not.  I SHINE!   The world

can do as it pleases with my body.  But I SHINE!

5:29  says, 'If your right eye should cause you to stumble, pluck it out

and throw it away from you; for it is better for you to lose one of your

members, and not have all your body fall into hell. "

What that told me is the true ME is far superior to it's inferior member.   And

that at best: my inferior body part is a hindrance to my success.

Truly we all want to impart life to our bodies.  So I pursue healing.   My short

term goal is to get my body to the upper 1/3 of the labs range and dwell where I

can at peak levels.    Other than that I have some SHINNING TO DO.

I did not let them down.  They let me down by letting me perish in anxiety,

depression, fear, embarrassment, shame, reproach, guilt, bewilderment, dismay,

sickness and disease and all the more.   You can understand I am sure how my

decision process was severely assaulted.   Yet I forgave them.  Because they

were just as much in need as I am today seeking the wisdom of our moderator's

and the host of the brethren here.

God does not laugh at my nakedness. He has mercy and led me to this group, an

outstanding doctor, and actual progress.        He just asks me if I will quit

him for a perfect penis.   And to that I say.

Nope!   Shine.

I have also dealt with psychological difficulties all my life, but I am doing

much better. It may be a situation where the Endocrine system due to low T,

cannot secrete certain hormones in healthy levels to where they need to travel.

As I am learning how to control my mental issues, I realized I felt really

inferior, due to not maturing in areas of my body as I should have. Also, I

always suffered from weight issues, and fatigue, and being anti society in

dating, etc. Now I know I had high " E2 " and low T for the longest.

I think the Endocrine system and other aspects of our biology should be more

researched toward the effects of mental health. I have noticed we primarily

focus on the medication and ranges of Endocrine but not the different hormones

its in charge of secreting.
