What happens to E2 after taking Arimidex? When?

I wonder if anyone knows the pattern of E2 changes after taking a

dose of Arimidex. Does it drop sharply right away and then slowly

rise again as that wears off? Or does E2 gradually fall and then

gradually rise.

My guess would be that since Ari only affects the conversion of T to

E, but does nothing to existing E, it's likely that E2 goes down

gradually, and then comes back up as the Ari wears off and conversion

resumes. But I don't have any feel for the time scale involved - how

many days.

For example. Suppose I take 0.25 mg of Ari one morning, and get

significant nocturnal activity that night and good morning wood. But

then those effects decline gradually over the next few days. Why did

things get worse?

If it was the right dose originally, and E2 went down to just the

right level, then I need to take more a day or two later because E2

has gone back up again.

But suppose E2 was going down gradually the first night, and then

gradually went too low after that, so that the morning wood was just

a temporary sweet spot on the way to E2 being too low. In that case,

the last thing you want to do is take more Ari.

Does anyone here have a feel for the time frame involved with the

effects on E2 from taking Arimidex? That info might help you figure

out whether you need to take more, or have already taken too much.
