Guest guest
Have you tried naturally conceiving for 6 months before trying other avenues? I am primary which is worst than secondary in terms of what can be medically done. I conceived when doctors told me I could not, then back-tracked after I confronted this issue. At least I know I can try again with the right person in a couple of years. From what I am working with my Endo is to monitor my testicles atrophy, if they continue to get smaller, that means there will be less sperm when I do try again. I dont want to go the route of IVF, etc. I would try naturally for at least 6 months. Try when your wife or girlfriend time is good for conception. Make sure also all these meds you are taking isn't regressing your sperm instead of helping it. If you haven't given this time, do so before you go the route of expensive tests and infertility treatments. >   I was wondering if anyone here has had any luck with fertility on T and > HCG protocols? > > I’m currently doing 50mg T 2x a week and 400iu HCG every 3rd day. Guest guest
Yes we have tried for the last 10 years without any results. I'm 40 and my wife is 37 so we are running out of time/options at this point. I have been doing HCG along with my T so I haven't had any testicle atrophy but in the 2+ years of doing this we still haven't conceived. The doctors in my area (NJ) refuse to do much in regards to male fertility issues, it is their view that as long as you have some viable sperm we will do IVF, but they won't work with me on resolving the issue itself. So I'm left with trying to get my count as high as possible and going with IVF. Has anyone had any luck with this after a few years on TRT? >
Guest guest
I am sorry ozz. You and your wife deserve better and I do hope you two will make compassionate and deserving parents soon. Since you live so close to NYC, why not google better specialists in the city who will work with your health insurance? If you need help please email me. I live in NYC, and I have experience in researching for different specialists without having the best insurance coverage... If you are on a budget, we can find out how much it would cost to come in the city cheap and what hospitals or medical centers can better assist you and your insurance. Other than this Sir, I don't know what to offer. I do know NYC offers varies avenues for specialist services and appointments are typically fast. I was told that I could not conceive naturally, its sad you and your wife have been trying for 10 years with little medical results, but lets help that now even if you have to take the little travel to NYC. Take care. From: ozzmed <ozzmed@...> Subject: Re: Fertility??? Date: Tuesday, March 10, 2009, 12:35 PM Yes we have tried for the last 10 years without any results.
