EMU Oil

Some guy was selling it at some craft fair and he had skin like a

teenager and he was in his late 60's. I didn't buy any but was

interested as I had never heard of it before. He was pushy and it

was expensive. Later I found out that is one of those MLM products.

Just wondering if anyone had heard about it.

I have been faithfully using coconut oil on my face 2-3 times a day

and my face is so broken out at times that I was a little concerned

and I notice a ton of black heads......but on closer inspection the

black heads were sitting on top of my skin. In Fife's latest

coconut book he talks about coconut oil helping the body and the

skin detox.......and also the body detoxes through the skin

obviously. But he said that he had breakouts for several months

that just went away after that and his skin looks better than ever.

I will continue to use the coconut oil and look for something to

help exfoliate the skin in the files. Coconut flour and honey does

a good job of a scrub too.

> Good morning Bee and company, I was wondering about emu oil as a healing agent

for my poor chin which was/is infested with acne-an aesthetician told my sister

that emu oil has great healing properties I found a link for it on your site and

would order from that company-do you supprt this? please let me know as acne is

such a slow healing process.

+++Hi Phyllis. That link was probably from a Google ad on my site, and I don't

have a choice of what ads are posted.

I don't think it will help your acne any more than the remedies I recommend.

The time it takes for natural healing cannot be shortened anyway. No matter

what kind of direct remedies you use your body will still require 1 month for

every year.

It isn't what you apply to your skin that heals, even though some remedies make

symptoms more comfortable. Healing comes from within, which is mainly due to

" proper nutrients " (diet plus supplements).

The best, Bee

Hi Phyllis,

I'm going through this also. Since I don't want to stop the process, the thing

I thought could help is coffee enemas to support your liver which helps clear

toxins.

For what it's worth department, I am reading of a couple of clinical trials,

envolving neltrexone being passed through the skin into the blood stream in a

couple of clinical trials, using emu oil as the carrier, envolving children, and

crohn's disease, the docks are saying it works quickly and very well indeed.

kind regards david

Hi Bee

Thanks for your insight. I have tried using olive oil as well as coconut oil on

my face at night when I first started the diet & it just made my skin itchy &

reactive & didn't calm it down at all so I'm relunctant to try again when Emu

oil has been so good & as it's an Austrlalian product it's not expensive here. I

just have really reactive skin on my face which I'm hoping will heal in time.

As for the heat pack, I'll think about that one as I don't want everyhing

smelling like oregano & just have good massages as regular as I can afford.
