If you do a search on it you will get what it does to women most of what I have

heard about the sides of it in men are from the men that took it. And what Dr.

said about it in a post. Clomid is not good for long term TRT some men

have had eye problems that did not go away and Dr. said if you take it and have

any Eye problems stop taking it.

I just wanted to add my two cents worth. My Doctor who has been prety

good for me on this hypogonadism journy didn't like the idea of Clomid

(or HCG) for long term use. It might be that using this strictly to

plump up the testes is not " worth " much fooling around with another

serious med. Anyway I decided to follow her lead.

Clomid is not a long term drug it has some bad sides floaters in your eyes and

crying at a sad movie come to mind. Dr. Shippen likes to use this drug.

I am curious about Climid. Can someone share his experience with it explaining

the transition from HRT and/or HCG to Climd only? Perhaps it is the best drug to

take as I never was seriously diagnosed.

I know HCG 50 unit X3 week (Jump started my balls+ 1/2 pack of Androgel works

great for now).

Climid works on teh Thyroid right?

I am on HCG, and tried it for two weeks while on vacation, and it seemed to

do the job, but I really never gave it an opporunity, only two weeks, why

don't you try it and report back how it works for you.

Dave,

I hope this finds you well.

You can search my past post with regards to Clomid. I also ended up

on the medication after trying patches, gels and shots to no avail.

My doc. is willing to try this as a last ditch.

My encouragement is that it will work! I have found an incredible

response, with no side effects and a complete reversal of symptoms.

HOWEVER, it might take a while to kick in, if you have been on the

60mg. of TRT for some time. You are trying to wake up your pituitary

which the TRT told it to shut down - this will take time. I found

that it took about 5 months to re-start my HPTA axis after having been

on TRT for about 8 months.

An option, if your doctor agrees, is to increase the Clomid to 100

mgs. 3X to jack the pituitary response time a bit and then cut it back

to obtain a more normal T level.

Patience is nothing new for you waiting to have a baby...but, I am not

sure how you can get there on Clomid with just a bit more...

Blessings and PM me if you would like to chat off-line.

I am 32 years old and have secondary hypogonadism. My latest testosterone level

was 220 ng/dl, which was just under the bottom level of the " normal " reference

range. I am seeing a urologist who is advocating the use of Clomid to raise my

testosterone level. I used to take HCG, but had to take 1,000 units twice a

week and that raised my E2 levels too much.

Is anyone here taking Clomid as sole testosterone therapy? What are some of the

risks/rewards of taking Clomid? What kind of a dosage would one expect to take?

I've not heard of a link, though it is most likely best for mom/baby to not use

clomid. But, if you have no choice, there is no choice. Have you looked at

alternatives such as Chinese Herbs, acupuncture, Vitex, maca, etc.?
