Guest guest
Hi I am just wondering. I am on a beta blocker 5 mg per day called concor 5 to slow my heart rate and angina. Can this be the cause of me being secondary hypo. Low LH and thus low T. I mean if the beta blocker can block adreneline working on nerve cells can beta blockers block the cells in the pituary gland making it not " seeing " that testosterone is low. In other words blocking it. just wondering.
Guest guest
I'm on a beta-blocker as well and I've never heard, or read on the patient information sheet for my beta-blocker, that there is any evidence that it can affect testosterone levels. If there was any evidence that it did it would be on that information sheet. > > > > Hi > > I am just wondering. > I am on a beta blocker 5 mg per day called concor 5 to slow my > heart rate and angina. > Can this be the cause of me being secondary hypo. > Low LH and thus low T. > > I mean if the beta blocker can block adreneline working on nerve cells > can beta blockers block the cells in the pituary gland making it not > " seeing " that testosterone is low.
