Guest guest
This can mean your Estradiol levels are to high. <gpb3@...> wrote: Hi Dan, My breast are, what I call swollen, they don't seem to be growning any bigger, but I'm not sure. Guest guest
Itchy and sensitive nipples have always been a very good indicator to me that my estrogens were too high. When my E2 was sky high, my nipples were so sensitive that I could actually " get off " by rubbing them sitting at my desk. That was kind of cool, but the man-boobs that followed wasn't! ;-) On Dec 5, 2007, at 5:27 PM, Dan Meatheany wrote: > I have been lucky not to have any issues with breast tissue growth. > However lately, one of my nipples has started to itch. Guest guest
Hi Philip, I'm old and wonder what the age limit might be on your advice. I think men normally have problems with morning wood somewhere along the line. Don't most older men loose their ability to have erections or age related ED and their ability to ejaculate somewhere in time? I ahve not seen any studies. Yes, younger men I assume under 50 would fit in the group you are talking about. ernestnolan I have been lucky not to have any issues with breast tissue growth. Guest guest
Hi Philip, Yes you are right, I do not have natural erections anymore. Men in their 80's with good results seem to be rare to me. I wouldn't really be able to convince my GP to give me a test for E2 but I will mention it to Dr. Natrajan who is now caring for my pellets. He may have an opinion and is most likely to go along with my request for a test. ernestnolan I have been lucky not to have > any issues with breast tissue growth. Guest guest
Most Dr.'s don't believe Estradiol is a problem for men I have some men at MESO on pellets that have high Estradiol levels it's not allways about what kind of TRT your on it's about we are all not the same. Higher levels of Estradiol tear down the good TRT does for us men in more ways the just erections. I can not believe for the life of me why most Dr.'s are so bull headed. Dr.'s like Shippen and Dr. have been saying this is a problem for yrs. Men having the testosterone checked for the first time and show low T with low LH and FSH are told they are Secondary and may have a Pituitary problem. And they are not the Dr. never checked the mans Estradiol when this is high it fill the cells and the brain can't tell the difference and thinks it's testosterone and slows down sending the LH and FSH messages to the testis to make more testosterone. And all that is needed is to get the Estradiol down and the brain now will see the T is low and send the LH and FSH to the testis and his T levels will come back up. No need for TRT. Here is 2 links about this one is short and the other is long. http://tinyurl.com/2m7dkl http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 The following is some info on HCG men on TRT shut down the LH the brain stops sending this to the testis most Dr.'s don't feel HCG will help men on TRT Primary or Secondary. Yet some one put a article out that in women if they take HCG they will lose weight so now there is a shortage of HCG. Now think about this HCG is not going to help men on TRT. Yet Dr.'s are giving HCG to women to help them lose weight. It is now found that the testis make Pregnelone and this is at the top of the hormone chain. Here is a cut and paste from a poster at MESO about this. ======================================================= " Pregnenolone is an endogenous (naturally produced) steroid hormone that is a precursor to every bodily hormone. Pregnenolone is produced primarily in the testicles in males and the ovaries in females. Although pregnenolone is a precursor hormone to every other hormone made by the body, the site of pregnenolone manufacture will chiefly determine the results of pregnenolone hormone conversion. In males, for example, pregnenolone produced in the testicles has a high probability of converting into testosterone, and pregnenolone produced in the ovaries in females has a high probability of converting into estrogens. In both sexes, pregnenolone produced in the adrenal glands has a high probability of converting into aldersterone, cortisol or DHEA. " http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/preg.html Now, its not just the loss of pregnenolone we are concerend with. I am especially concerned with LH receptors and the fact that without hcG, on TRT there is shutdown here. " LHCGR(LH receptors) have been found in many types of extragonadal tissues, and the physiologic role has remained largely unexplored. Thus receptors have been found in the uterus, sperm, seminal vesicles, prostate, skin, breast, adrenals, thyroid, neural retina, neuroendocrine cells, and (rat) brain.[2] " " In the male the LHCGR has been identified on the Leydig cells that are critical for testosterone production, and support spermatogenesis. Normal LHCGR functioning is critical for male fetal development, as the fetal Leydig cells produce testosterone to induce masculinization. " from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luteinizing_hormone/choriogonadotropin_receptor So for a Dr. to say a man on TRT does not need HCG is not up on this and is not doing the best he can. LH cells are all over the body and in the brain shuting this down and not leting a man add HCG is why most don't feel all that great on TRT. Yet they will give it to women because someone said it helps them to lose weight. ernestnolan <ernestnolan@...> wrote: Hi Philip, Yes you are right, I do not have natural erections anymore. Guest guest
Hi, As you may have read before, I had a strangled testicle while in HS and lived normal till about 60. Guest guest
Hello Ernest, I've done alot of reading on this subject lately and the weight of opinion from medical professionals is that a large percent of ED men suffer from low Testosterone and if they got it back up to the level it was when they were 21yo they wouldn't have an ED problem. Guest guest
Hi Sam and welcome: You can try taking some Zinc/Copper this helps also next test have your Estrodiol " E2 " tested is it's over 30 get back to use and we can help you find something to get this down. http://www.myvitanet.com/zincop100cnt.html Here is a dam good link to read about low T. All I do to feel better is keep my Total and Free Testosterone levels up into the upper 1/3 of any labs range and keep your E2 down between 10 to 30 best at 20 pg/ml some men do better at higher levels bottom line is if you have night time and morning wood your E2 is good. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html <gpb3@...> wrote: Hi Sam, I'm on androgel and I didn't notice until I read your post but my nipples seem to be hard all the time.
