Your total is below the mid range try to get it over 600. Your Free will come up with this and your low Estradiol. Get on some DHEA your very low I take 25 mgs a day and it gets me to mid range. Guest guest
, I had similar results, but I was only test total and free, my results were: Result Ref Free testosterone (Direct)..12.8 ------8.7-25.1 Testosterone-Serum ..........375------- 241-827 (Done through Lab Corp) I thought for sure the doctor would say something with me being 37, but to my disappointment and surprise, he said it was normal enough not to cause ED or fatigue. (I've also been getting strange skin rashes in my right calf as well that has my PCP puzzled, but taking Desonide for that.) He wanted to put me on Cialis for ED. What really upset me was that he commented that I wasn't 17 any more, but I also said that I'm not 85 either and that might be normal for an 85 year old, but not a healthy 37 your old. He disagreed and I walked away unhappy. I showed the results to my therapist (attacking the ED problem from both ends) and she thought they were low for my age as well, and the bizarre part is that she recommended me to the group that this doctor belonged to. I get to talk to her in a few days and see what she says about that. A little background: I do have a fatty liver (hereditary with alcoholism in the family), but I don't drink, have normal blood pressure, normal cholesterol, and despite being 6' 6 " and 285 lbs, I have a 40 inch waist. (I could stand to loose a few pounds, but my BMI is under 25 using the waist measurement method. I also have a scale that measure body fat and it has me at 22.7%, which is suppose to match BMI pretty closely.) All my life, I've had well built lower half, but I've always had low upper body strength despite workouts and Karate. I've done some research and found out that fatty liver can cause some Testosterone issues, but I'm unclear and where to go from her. If anyone can recommend someone in the Northern New Jersey area, let me know. Guest guest
, How long have you been on TRT and at what dosage? I ask this because I have found a delay of 1-2 months between TRT and full suspension of side effects of being low --- i.e. as my body builds muscle and transforms/drops fat, there is great exhaustion from all that interior work, which passes itself of as a side effect. Try to always focus on " how you are feeling " rather than a suggested range. You will know when your T level (and E2 level) is correct " for you " , by how " you " feel. Guest guest
If you do go down this path towards treatment, remember to explore Clomid as an option that works quite well, but some regard as avant- garde. In my mind, if you are secondary, better to see if your testis can work " with a little nudge " .
