I can't imagine the mechanism directly-- been reported too much caffiene can

increase E2--so indirectly I guess coffee could have an effect.

2 cups of coffee-- if that is it for the day I wouldn't worry about it.

Caffiene & Testosterone

I'm starting to read that caffiene consumption is bad for a guy that is

testosterone challenged. Does any have any insight on this?

I drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning, sometimes a coke at lunch and 1-2 cups

of coffee in the afternoon. I've tried cutting back the caffiene but I get

headaches and am very tired in the afternoon. I think that caffiene is what

keeps me going.

Thanks

I have a good 3 cups of 10 oz Coffee every morning I stopped the coffee after

morning and drink water. I never seen my levels change on TRT with or with out

coffee. Everyday some study says it not good for you then one comes out saying

it's good for you.

If you cut back on it to every morning only you might find you will not feel so

stressed and low T can make one feel stressed. I filter my water don't drink

bottled water in plastic it leaches Estrogen into your water. I did a search

and got a Canteen 24 oz I put my water in this it's stainless steel.

One of the places that I saw this about caffiene was on a compounding pharmacy's

website that is local to me. It stated something to the effect " avoid alcohol,

smoking and caffiene as these lower testoserone " . Yes it is true that there are

always papers coming out claiming all sorts of B.S. The trick is to shift

through them for the good info.

Yes, but I'm not on TRT yet. I am in the process of finding a doctor, one that

takes my insurance. A doctor that will acknowledge I am having a problem. I've

been to 3 doctors that don't want to deal with it. I have an appt. with a

urologist 9/25. I may possibly have an appt. with and internist that is supposed

to be knowledgable in HRT. I am really keeping my fingers crossed. All I know is

I feel like SHI# and quite womanly these days.

The headaches are from caffeine withdrawal.

I've not heard this but it wouldn't surprise me. Caffeine impacts

calcium chemistry. And so does T
