Guest guest
Hey guys, I got my cream today, its in 3 of these little syringe looking things. Script says to use 1/mL day. My doc never told me where to apply nor what time of day. So for those of you who used compounded cream i ask this: 1. When to apply? Nightime, morning? 2. Where to apply? Chest? If so after rubbing it in, how long before dressing? Thanks! -J
Guest guest
I put it on in the morning and rubbed it into my forearm. Does it say what % it is 5 or 10. Guest guest
Apply in the morning to the inner forearm or inner bicep area, where the skin is thin. > > Hey guys, > > I got my cream today, its in 3 of these little syringe looking things. > Script says to use 1/mL day. Guest guest
Welp i've been using the cream now for approx 9 days. Have noticed an increase in libido. Haven't noticed too much of an increase in energy levels though (Shouldn't that have kicked in by now?). I asked my doc about the application times, and he has me putting the cream on at night, but those of you who posted stated use it in the morning. Is there really any difference? > > Hey guys, > > I got my cream today, its in 3 of these little syringe looking things. > Script says to use 1/mL day. Guest guest
You can likely get that info from the pharmacist. Guest guest
It can take weeks for you to notice a change just give it 4 weeks and then get a blood test keep doing the test every 4 weeks until your levels are good and your stable. You may need to up the dose so keep checking it with a test. Phil johnrider2k2 <johnrider2k2@...> wrote: Phil, no it doesn't. Its been 9 days now since i started. Guest guest
Will do. I've got a 30day supply and a refill on it. Have a docs appointment on the 17th and he'll run bloodwork as always when i'm there. Thanks again Phil! > > It can take weeks for you to notice a change just give it 4 weeks and then get a blood test keep doing the test every 4 weeks until your levels are good and your stable. Guest guest
Can't you do the test a week before you see the Dr. so this way when you see him you have the tests in front of you and he can talk turkey with you. Call and ask you need Total and Free T, Estradiol, DHT and DHEA-S. Phil johnrider2k2 <johnrider2k2@...> wrote: Will do. I've got a 30day supply and a refill on it. Guest guest
I think that " " SOMETIMES " " we are toooo nice and cower to our doctors. We are the ones that are paying for the treatment, are the ones that will benefit or not by the treatment, and should be more involved in our own health care. I have found that by being a little more of a man and telling the doctor that I feel a different course of treatment, different timing of the treatment, will get better response from my doctor. Of course this requires some research on our part so we are well informed before going to the doctors office. Simple things such as when labs are pulled, so he will have the numbers in front of him when your next appointment comes around, are things that we can make happen just with a little common sense on the part of both of you. We MUST remember that he puts his pants on just as we do and having a degree on the wall doesn't make him a god or a ruler of us " COMMON " folks. Guest guest
Maybe you need a different doctor? I had some real peaches and was scared to see them for fear of what dumb thing they would either do or ignore. Then I decided to sit down and rethink this walk in take who they give you and never switch unless they move away. ;-) > > > > It can take weeks for you to notice a change just give it 4 weeks > and then get a blood test keep doing the test every 4 weeks until your > levels are good and your stable. Guest guest
What kind of compounded cream are you using? I use Testim and have though about going to a compounding pharmacy to compound me a Testoterone 1% cream. It is about 20% of the cost of Testim.. but wasn't sure if it was as effective. Yeh I would put it on in am after the shower. It does seem to give a slight energy boost about 2- 3 later with me. > > > > > > > I put the cream on in the morning because it gave me engery if I > put it on at night I could not sleep.
