Guest guest
I first used conductive gel that is sold for TENS unit users, but when I went to replace it at a local pharmacy the druggist told me that the personal lubricant (like KY, not vasaline) is the same thing, AND lots cheaper. It shouldn't bother your eyes, although there are some brands that contain menthol or something to produce a warming effect, which might be desirable some places, but not in the eyes.. Ask your druggist. (Chemist if you live in the UK) FWIW, I quit using the conductive gel on my cloth covered electrodes, because it dries out and gets stiff in time, and plain water seems to work fine for me. If you do need more conductivity you can use a mild solution of baking soda, but not salt.
