Tamoxifin or Novaldex is a SERM designed to treat breast cancer. On

the other hand, Clomid is a drug commonly used for treating

infertility. It is also one of the drugs of choice for body builders

as a part of their PCT or post cycle therapy or to jump start their

HPTA after being on a cycle of steroids.

In the female body Clomid works on the estrogen receptors in the

following tissues: hypothalamus, pituitary, ovary, endometrium,

vagina, and cervix. Clomid influences the way that the four hormones

required for ovulation, GnRH, FSH, LH and estradiol, relate and

interrelate.

In the end Clomid fools the female body into thinking that it is low

in estrogen, and this in turn causes the female body to release more

GnRH which then causes the release of more LH and FSH at the

pituitary level.

Now when you use Clomid in the male body, it works to convince the

body that there is not enough testosterone being produced, and so it

works to raise the release of GnRH which in turn providing a person's

HPTA will function properly will increase the release of LH in the

male body which in turn if the testicles are able to work will

increase T production.

I would be interested to see how Clomid raises E levels in males

other than possibly increasing the levels of T available for

aromatization.

On the other hand, the use of the Novaldex will only block E2 from

getting to the various receptors as those receptors are occupied by a

weak estrogen like drug from taking the Novaldex.
