Only one way to tell get your Estradiol tested if it's high do one tablet of

indolplex/DIM at dinner you will know if it is down when you start getting some

mornng wood. Or go on Arimidex .25mgs every 3 days same thing with the wood.

T issue for some time. I have

posted on here in the past. Long story short, my T levels have been

in the 300 range (RR - 240-827), Free has also been low and LH, FSH

have been low as well. I have struggled with ED symptoms since my

vasectomy. I think an infection I had has resulted in my lowering T

hormone levels.

MY GP and I agreed to try Androgel after the PDE-5 inhibitors stopped

working reliably. About three weeks in he checked my total T (was

over 600) and I had him check Estradiol it was 15 (RR<59). My ED

symptoms greately improved. Much lower PDE-5 drugs needed and even

some success without drugs. Doc said come back in six months.

Suddenly about 3 weeks later everything stopped working again.

Absolute 100% failure with PDE-5 drugs. Started feeling depressed.

Made an appointment with a local doctor recommended by Dr. Shippen's

office. In the meantime I started taking 1/2 tablet of DIM at night

before bed. Seems to help a little but have not tried sex yet.

Any ideas what is going on? How long would it take for Estradiol to

impact me? Is that what I am feeling or have my own testicles just

shutdown and I am feeling that drop? Should I try upping the T

dosage (using 5 mg daily and really " feel " the effects already).

Any help would be appreciated.

I would guess your E2 has dropped too low. Much below 20 and you start

to pay a price. Around 10 erections are dead.

I'd stop taking blockers for about 10 days and see if there is

improvement along the way.

E2 has a half life of 48 hours so builds up slowly , while steadily

driving your E2 ever lower. It takes 6 to 8 days to clean out and get

E2 levels back to preblocker levels (that number though comes from

studies in women - not men.)

Taking DIM and blockers is over kill also.

Finding the right balance is a tricky trial and error experience. You

eventually learn to recognize and read you levels through symptoms

like morning wood. I'd suggest keeping a journal of doses and levels

and days until you figure it out.
