Guest guest
Hi Jim yes there are some guys doing very good on pellets at MESO Men's Health Forum there is a good thread about this. http://forum.mesomorphosis.com/mens-health-forum/bio-identical-pellet-hormone-13\ 4254185.html I don't do them I did try them 13 yrs ago and the cost was about $1500.00. First it was $300.00 to see the Dr. for the first visit then he would not take my old labs so more money for labs. Then I went back to have the pellets put in. I found out later this Dr. only treated women and I was his first man. Will the pellets only lasted me a month so bad for more labs then back again because my levels were to low for more pellets. And they only lasted 5 weeks when I called him telling him I feel my levels are to low he offered me a Andi-depressent saying this is not possable and I feel this way because I am depressed. WTF I went back to my Family Dr. he did labs and I was to low. I paied this Dr. $1500.00 only to findout he did not know what he was doing with the dose he gave me the pellets they use for women and just a little more then they use. My BCBS will not pay for them I know of Sottopelle and they are a 4 hr. driver round trip to get them done and the cost for 1600 mgs of pellets and that is the highest they will give still cost a dam lot of money. I found I do much better doing 70mgs of 200mgs/ml of Depo T shots every 3 days and 350 IU's of HCG the 2 days each in between. I use a 27g 1ml x 1/2 " lg. needle and shoot into my thigh. My levels have been great for the last 2 yrs. and my E2 is way down doing this. I do .5mgs of Armidex once a week. Then cost is less the 1/4 the cost of pellets. " J. They are bio-identical testosterone pellets, implanted about every 3 - 4 months. There are doctors all over the USA, the link below will take you to a map of the USA where doctors are located. http://www.sottopelletherapy.com/physiciansmap.htm The procedure takes about 10 mins., is painless (you might be sore for about 3 days), and takes about 3 weeks to get you up to speed. I have secondary hypogonadism. I'm 52. In my younger days I took testosterone shots. Then moved onto HCG the last 15 years (a shot every 3 days). It worked great for many years but rollercoaster effects got worse as time went on. So I tried the pellets. I just had my 3rd implants - no shots, no rollercoaster effect. I feel great! The website should answer most questions. The pellets range from $45 - $65 for a double pellet...I use 12 double pellets. I also take a low amount of Arimidex (1 - 1MG tablet a week). Hope this helps, Jim Co-Moderator " Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. Guest guest
Hi, I'm glad you tried the pellets which I think are the best kept secrete of all the forms of therapy. Sounds like the pellet doctors are getting better organized now. Specifically I have been receiving 20 - 75 mg testosterone pellets for a total of 1500 mg which averages out to be 12.5 mg/day. One to three of these 75 mg pellets may be used in women along with estrogen pellets giving the woman the same balance of T to E she had before menopause. My pellets allow me to have a level of T = 800+ and last 4 months. If your doctor doesn't have experience he may give you a smaller dose that needed. When you get too few they do not dissolve in a shorter period as they are designed to chemically take at least 3-4 months to dissolve. Pellets are sometimes not effective if there is poor blood circulation in the fatty tissue around the pellets and they cannot dissolve as they should. When you can still feel them under your skin you know if they are still there. Costs vary tremendously around the country. My visit for 20 additional pellets cost about $450 for a total cost of $1350/year. Medicare pays for most of that in Augusta, GA but that is not the case in other parts of the nation. I'm curious, what is the size of the double pellet, 200 mg? My doctor gives me several injections to prevent pain so it takes me about 30 minutes. ernestnolan > > Hi All, > > I rarely post but have been a member the last 4 or 5 years here.
