Guest guest
We all have come to the agreement that it is best to stay in the upper 1/3 of the range for total T. Here is my question. Let's take lab X who has a range or 250 to 800 ng/dl. The upper 1/3 would be 560-800. More than likely, if I injected the exact amount to get 800 on day 1, by day 7 I would be down to ~ 300 (too low) so I go up on the initial say to 1200 on day 1 just to stay ~ 500. This means I probably have to take an aromatase inhibitor to keep the 1200 spike from converting. Long term, is there an issue with this? Obviously, one can see why injecting 2 times per week would minimize this and maybe this is where we all need to be. Could it be that injections every 7 days will be looked at like we do 2 week injections now? Just interested in opinions. Guest guest
I may get a lot of feed back for saying this but my Dr. says taking tests sooner then the day of your next shot is not what you need. You need to know what your TT and FT are just before your next shot. For most men over 40 on TRT your going to have a problem with Estradiol men this age not on TRT have higher levels then women the same age. So if you buy into the low T levels to keep E2 down yes it will but your not going to be 100% now some men do well at lower levels but this is not the norm.
