Guest guest
I have heard about Dr.'s trying to jump start men but one seen one that it worked and this guy was low because of using Propecia for hair loss. Your DH may need to be on TRT if his T levels don't stay up in the upper 1/3 of the labs range. He went off everything before his appointment with Dr. Guay at the Sexual Health Cenet at the Lahey. I was fully expecting that Dr. Guay would test for E2 but he only test for it in men with infertility. I sent him a copy of Schippen's book. He tested for everything else. I had really expected that he would discover some Pituitary problem or something. DH is on the clomid to " jumpstart " the Pituitary axis. He seemed to be regaining sensation " down there " just before Christmas. I am starting to suspect that the holiday eating has tipped him into borderline diabetes and this is effecting him. He had a fasting blood sugar yesterday at his PCP. Michele

Guest guest
I was taking propecia before I went on Clomid. (I have been taking propecia for over 7 years). We tried going off it for a period of time to see if it raised my T levels... nothing. It only worked on DHT levels, so I added it back and my endo. added the clomid. I'm going to talk to my new doc about the Beta-HCG this week ---J > Thanks Phil, > > My DH has had no morning wood for two years now. We tried the 100mg > then the 200 mg. Guest guest
From what I have seen that Propecia has done to men given them ED and low T I would not use it if I were your I would rather be bald then have ED and low T. Here read this link. http://www.propeciasideeffects.com/ Phil musickdude4ever <miamiman1977@...> wrote: I was taking propecia before I went on Clomid. (I have been taking propecia for over 7 years). Guest guest
so have u seen positive results after going on clomid? how about side effects? while taking propecia did u experience other symptoms outside of low T numbers...such as weight gain and/or irratability all of a sudden...meaning ur first 5 or 6 years were fine? musickdude4ever <miamiman1977@...> wrote: I was taking propecia before I went on Clomid. Guest guest
Hey Jack I had absolutely no side effects from propecia at all. My hair was getting thin and I wanted to stop it from falling out, being a self- conscious gay male in his early 20's at the time... The only thing propecia did in me for the first 5-6 years was lower my DHT levels. I had the same libido, energy, mood, weight, etc, etc, until the testicular cancer in 2003. Then my doc and I thought of trying a trial off the propecia... did nothing for any of my T levels, libido, etc EXCEPT my DHT level rose dramatically. I like to keep my DHT level in the low-normal range on the lab reference tests... that range allows me normal libido/etc but not baldness. The testicular cancer caused a host of other metabolic and hormonal problems --- I have hypothalamic hypogonadism now, which as I said before I'm treating with several different methods. ---jason > > Thanks Phil, > > > > My DH has had no morning wood for two years now. Guest guest
Hey Jack, Forgot to mention... YES, while on clomid my T. levels rocketed up from 225 to 1,250. The endo actually had me cut back on the clomid because it raised my hemoglobin levels and my T was above 1,000 for over a month. I'm wanting to switch to Beta-HCG now (Profasi) because I hear it keeps the levels more steady ---jason > > Thanks Phil, > > > > My DH has had no morning wood for two years now. Guest guest
Increase in fat could be caused by an increase in E2 or Total E. I have the same problem. Did you ever get your Total E and E2 levels checked? If you did what were the results? > > Thanks Phil, > > > > My DH has had no morning wood for two years now.
