Guest guest
This is the result of my AM Testosterone test: 654 result out of range 241-827. I am 56 yrs old. Seems pretty normal (maybe even strong) result. Questions: Should I pursue further testosterone tests? Can E2 be way off is test is so normal? Thanks. I am 56 yrs old. Seems pretty normal >(maybe even strong) result. Goods news! I'm assuming this is natural levels without Testosterone therapy? >Questions: > >Should I pursue further testosterone tests? I'd say no. Except you need to find out how much of that T is Free testosterone. >Can E2 be way off is test is so normal? Yes it can, but it's unlikely. E2 " fools " the pituitary usually into thinking it's T and T production is reduced accordingly. How's your weight? Conversion happens more in fat. If you're not significantly overweight it's unlikely. If your issues are energy, mental fog, etc., you might look at your thyroid levels. Guest guest
I am overweight. Issues are weight gain (esp around the waist) anxiety, depression, lethargy, libido. Yes these were natural results with no therapy. Is free testosterone another blood test? Thanks. retrogrouch@... wrote: > > On Thu, 28 Jun 2007 12:22:19 -0400, you wrote: > > > > >This is the result of my AM Testosterone test: > > > >654 result out of range 241-827. I am 56 yrs old. Yes it's a separate test. Given the fat deposition I'd urge an E2 test also. E2 outcompetes T for many binding and activity sites. > >retrogrouch@... wrote: >> >> On Thu, 28 Jun 2007 12:22:19 -0400, you wrote: >> >> > >> >This is the result of my AM Testosterone test: >> > >> >654 result out of range 241-827.
