Guest guest
I use a 23 gauge 3 ml syringe and inject in both thighs and butt. You do get some minor bleeding with this size but applying a little pressure and it will stop. Others have used smaller diameter needles with success but be prepared to inject longer due to the thickness of the oil medium. I think Phil has been using a 27 guage needle lately with success shooting a smaller dose more frequently in the thigh. Guest guest
Yes I am but it is getting to be a pain in the ass I am thinking there has to be a better way. Just don't know it yet. I don't like shooting in my belly it burns. I don't feel that using this small a needle is IM but my legs are lean. Guest guest
I was doing a 150 mg shot of Deop T 200mg/ml once a week using a 27g 1ml x 1/2 " lg. need and it worked dam good in my leg. You only need to draw .5mls into the needle and it is a small shot in the Thy. I was doing 25g 3ml x 1 " lg. needle and my test going to the 27g are the same. So if you ask me go with the 27g if your legs are not lean like mine get the 5/8 " lg needle. It takes about one min. to get the T out of the vile I pull the plunger down all the way. It is not a big deal to wait to pull the T out. Phil philhow3 <philhow1@...> wrote: I ha ve just switched from 7.5g testim/day to test cyp injections. I've read somewhere sometime in the past that you shouldn't be in a hurry to inject too fast. Something about " giving the muscle fibers a chance to unfold " and accept the oil. Using a smaller gauge like a 25 seems to take care of that automatically as the oil will only move so fast anyway (unless you really press hard on the plunger.) At least it does work for me. Guest guest
Phil, You must be using one of those tuberculin syringes with permanently attached needles. There is indeed a better way and it took me a bit of web searching and inquiring from pharmacists. Like you, I inject 3 times a week using a 1 ml syringe with interchangeable needles. I guess you already know the advantage of using a larger gauge needle to draw and a fresh undullled needle to inject. I use BD-309628 Luer-Loc (screw in type) syringe with BD-305175 20G 1 " needle to draw and inject with BD-305122 25G 5/8 " needle. See http://tinyurl.com/nqnsk (use the magnify icon to enlarge and drag into the lower blue panel). I inject in the vastus lateralis of the thigh and 5/8 is just ideal for me since my legs are skinny. I inject all the way to the hilt and, with the resulting dimple, I must be reaching deep into the muscle up to about 3/4 to 7/8 " . I get my syringes/needles from Costco and I buy the by the box of 100s. It is cheaper that way and less bothersome for the pharmacists as they don't have to break the box, repack and calculate price by piece. Hope this helps. Email me if you have any questions. Guest guest
Phil and folks, Sunday night and I'm a little sleepy. Sorry I have to correct myself. It's not 3 times a week but every three days. Twenty mg or 1/10 or ..10 of a cc to be more precise. Guest guest
Hello gentlemen. I just started taking Delatestryl 200mg INJ. and my shots are every three weeks. I'm confused in how yours is every three days. I thought it was the same three weeks for every male. Mr Phil, I thought you got your HCG INJ. from Dr . I was thinking about getting on a health plan for HCG separate from my current plan. My doctor keeps telling me, HCG won't stimulate the testes thus, stop asking kid. And it makes me uncomfortable when I continue to bring it up and continue to get shot down. I just took my first shot on the 10th. and I don't feel the emotional situations, I had prior. I don't feel that much engery and due to having a small penis, I don't feel that much libido. I thought I would feel a shot of engery and my other difficulties would defunct. I go back for my next shot on the 31, so I'll see..... --- Taddeo Tatsulok <taddeo_t@...> wrote: > Phil and folks, > > Sunday night and I'm a little sleepy. Guest guest
Thanks for the heads up but my needles come free with my T from MedcoHeath they send me BD 1ml 27g1/2 PewsiaionGlide needles Order No.309623. The needle is press fit on the end so I need to be sure it is seated good before drawing out the T. It only take less then a minute to pull out the t from the vile. I use 200mg/ml Depo T so to do a 62mg shot I only need to pull out .32 mls. Guest guest
Elliot go to www.allthingsmale.com and read Dr. 's TRT: A Recipe for Success and his HCG Update. Print this and this link and show it to your Dr. http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/90/5/2595 Also show this link to your Dr. it is the AACE Guildlines and on paget 11 it says to do shots in a lower dose every 7 to 10 days. You doing the shots the way your Dr. is tell ing you will put you on a roller coaster ride up after the shot for a few days the down low until your next shot. http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf If you can't get your Dr. on board with the latest and best Treatment then you need to find a better Dr. what your Dr. is saying and doing tells me he is not up on TRT. Guest guest
Elliot, There used to be a time when the norm for T cypionate/enanthate dosage for hypogonadism was anywhere from 100mg to 200 mg every 14 days. The reason for such long period in between dosage is to prevent testicular shrinkage. However, endos discovered that HCG could take care of problem and weekly injections became the norm. Still this did not prevent the roller coaster effect of T benefit / E2 side effects given its half life. See http://www.medibolics.com/freq2.htm I think the every third day frequency is the best you can do considering the 200mg weight per mililiter of the oil based T-cypio / T-enanthate vis-a-vis the microdosing you can do with it. If only there's a way of diluting and injecting the thing subcutaneously... Guest guest
We meaning some of the guys started doing T shots every 3 days because we read a post from on of Dr. Shippen's " Total Testosterone Syndrome " was doing them subQ every 3 days and it was keeping his E2 down. My Dr. said OK to this with the 27 g needle but would not let me do my shots subQ. I have talked to guys that did there T shots subQ and had no problems with E2. I am working on my Dr. to let me try this. Guest guest
Phil, You are using a BD Tuberculin Syringe with Detachable Needle, Slip Tip. For a while I used the 309626 equivalent with 25G 5/8 needle (see bottom third column http://tinyurl.com/nqnsk ). But I find the Luer-Lok worth the price of $35.90/100 that I paid for at Costco. Perhaps you can ask your provider to supply you the 309624 which comes in with 21G 1 for ease of drawing and buy the needle of your choice from the 305XXX series (second to the last column of the URL) which will all fit that slip tip syringe. It doesn't cost that much. I paid $9.90/100 box at Costco. Most important is that you'll be injecting with a fresh undulled needle. I wish I could do the same (change needles) with the Insulin syringes that I use everyday to shoot myself with HGH. Guest guest
Try pulling out your T with your HCG needle and do one shot. I pull the plunger all the way down and hold it and you will start to see the oil come in it is slow but not that slow. Guest guest
The higher the gauge, the shorter the needle needs to be, or it will bend (possibly break?). Even on a very short insulin needle 29g 1/2 " I think it was, I managed to bend the needle just going through the stopper in the vial. Glad I noticed, 'cause that would have hurt! _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of brad999us Sent: Saturday, March 18, 2006 7:05 PM Subject: Re: test cypionate syringe size > > I ha ve just switched from 7.5g testim/day to test cyp injections. > After reading this site and Dr. 's, will be doing .5cc or > 100ml/week from a 200mg/ml vial. I haven't seen a 27 guage 1 1/2 before.
Guest guest
Phil do you happen to have that link handy on Dr. Shippen's " Total Testosterone Syndrome. " I thought I had it and read it but can't locate it. Thanks, Roy philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> wrote: We meaning some of the guys started doing T shots every 3 days because we read a post from on of Dr.
